I’ve biked through this park many a time when doing a loop around town. I cross the river from Lawrenceville via the 40th street bridge, and follow the sidewalk right along the highway, which leads right into the entrance of the park. If you stay on the trail, you pass Kayak PGH, where you can rent kayaks, and then a picnic pavilion, where it seems like there’s usually some kind of gathering during the weekends.(I believe you can rent it.) Finally, you pass the Three Rivers Rowing Club’s clubhouse, where many crew boats are stored. This park is a narrow strip along the river, so I’m not sure if the address in Unilocal is correct. There are several bird houses, and Canadian geese can often be seen along the path.(Be cautious when they have their ducklings with them, since they can be quite aggressive!) I also often see people fishing from along the bank. While this park is pleasant, it’s fairly small, and amenities are limited in comparison to other riverfront parks in PGH. Nevertheless, it offers some welcome green space, allowing the residents of Millvale, visitors, and cyclists to enjoy the Allegheny river.
