MINI of Pittsburgh

Best experience I have ever had buying a new car. They are all just wonderful at mini of Pittsburgh. I will definitely be recommending them to my family and friends. To anybody reading this review do yourself a favor and go test drive a Mini Cooper I guarantee you will fall in love. Motor On!!!

Sales dept is exceptional service dept is OK. It’s tough to give the dealership 5 stars because the next closest is in Cleveland or Baltimore. The lack of competition makes it tough to gage. But I can say I always feel they are fair to deal with…

Very disappointed in service relating to run flat tires purchased and mounted here, both of which developed flats (sidewall holes) that could not be repaired very shortly after the Continental warranty expired. I do not feel that I received value for my $ 500 investment and found Mini of Pittsburgh’s reaction to my concerns to be inadequate, bordering on indifference. I was left with the impression that these tires are not suitable for road conditions around here. I am switching to standard, less expensive tires, and buying elsewhere, so that a flat will not be such a catastrophe from a financial perspective. Also, service department hours at this location are not convenient.

From the moment we walked in we received excellent Customer service. The person we talked with was named Joy. She was a Joy to work with. My husband told her what we were looking for and she took us for a test drive. Mini’s are a blast to drive. I wanted a 2 door because it would be my official Empty Nester car. I was looking at buying a 3 door Clubman when a 2 door Cooper came in. The 2 door Cooper won my heart. We talked with Joy about a few things we wanted added on to the car. One of those things was racing stripes. Before I knew it I was a Mini owner.
Everyone who works at the dealership is extremely friendly. They offer a «Second Date» where you come back in and ask any questions. When you buy a Mini you become part of the Mini family. Mini owners love their cars. We certainly do!

I purchased my Mini Cooper here in 2011. Despite being the only authorized dealership to sell new Minis in the area, I not only found the pricing on vehicles to be fair, but the customer service is outstanding.
My service rep, Lauren, has always been extremely courteous and friendly. Not only her, but everyone that I’ve encountered there. This is the first dealership that I’ve come across where I felt like everyone was not just professional, but also genuinely nice!

I leased my beloved Mini from a dealership in Colorado, but have since moved to Pennsylvania, so when it came due for service I headed into this dealership.
Scheduling the appointment was easy, and they did a great job with my car. I love my maintenance-​included lease almost as much as I love my Mini itself. The only downside was that they were swamped, and as a result servicing my car took 3.5 hours instead of the anticipated two. On the bright side, the waiting area is comfortable, and they did a great job keeping me updated so I never felt forgotten about. They also threw in the not-​included tire rotation to make up for it. Not a big deal– next time I’ll just schedule an appointment with a loaner instead of planning to sit and wait. I realized I was having problems with my BlueTooth while I was literally on my way out, and one of the employees was kind enough to help me get it sorted out. The also called me this morning to make sure everything was satisfactory.
I shouldn’t need service for my car soon, but when I do I won’t have any qualms about returning to this location.

Always a good experience with Mini Of Pittsburgh. The staff is great and have been there for years; you don’t see the turnover you have at other car dealers. Matter of fact I’ve bought two cars from the same sales person Jason, and the same manager Chris.
They also are great about keeping the relationship going. It doesn’t end with the sale and they sponsor events for the owners such as Minis at the Vintage Grand Prix. Had a great time there by the way.
Keep up the great work guys and don’t change the formula.

Great service from beginning to end including scheduling, service, ease of obtaining a loaner, and pick up. Always consistent.

Good, quick service. These guys know what’s up. If you can schedule well in advance, you can get the mini drop off loaner. It’s awesome service. They come get your car, then bring it back, while you have the use of a loaner mini. How cool is that? Pretty cool. The labor rate is killer, as in your wallet will die, but rest assured that the work will be done right so you can continue to motor on.

Jason and the Manager Chris were very helpful in making sure we had a great experience. We went on a great test drive that sold the car to us by showing what a great handling vehicle the Mini was. Jason made sure the buying process was smooth and made us feel very comfortable. The whole transaction was very fast and very enjoyable.

I bought my car here and get it serviced here as well. I have no complaints about anything. the service department gets you in and out. I like to checkout the new models while I wait.

Techs don’t know how to do any work on a car unless the computer tells them… no diagnostic skills at all… Last time my wife went down here to upgrade her car I detailed it beforehand and people there thought he car was for sale… their detail department sucks as well …
Just way too many complaints with mini’s in general STAY AWAYY

I’ve been a Mini owner since 2005, long before I moved to Pittsburgh, so this is not where I bought my car. But this is where I choose to go to get my car serviced. Since they are the only Mini dealer in the Pittsburgh area, it seems a little bit silly to write a review of them, but I felt like they probably deserved at least one on their Unilocal page! Especially since with the shiny new renovation, they are finally their own dealership with their own showroom instead of some shady-​looking extension of P&W BMW, across the street, who owns them.
When I bring my car in for service, everyone is friendly and very accomodating, even when I have last minute requests. They are also very realistic about the time they will need and always stay in touch about the status of your Mini. They provide a free loaner if you request one, but what’s special about them is that all of their loaners are Minis. I had to appreciate this even more after my dad rolled up to my apartment one day in a Nissan loaner that he was given while his car was being serviced at the Porsche dealership. Come on now. If you drive a Mini, you know how weird it is to drive a «normal» car after getting used to its quirks, so I love that I don’t have to sacrifice for even a minute. Plus, on my most recent visit, I got to take a Countryman out for the day! Now that everyone and their grandmother drives a Mini Cooper, it was kind of fun to drive a car that was such an attention-​grabber on the road (def saw some people creeping on it in the Century III Mall parking lot, haha). Reminded me of when I got my first Mini and people used to stop me and ask «What IS that?!»
Though some of the services I get here can probably be done elsewhere for a cheaper price, I don’t mind paying a premium because I trust they will do an excellent job and I feel better having someone who knows Minis work on my little guy. Maybe I’m biased since I’m on my second Mini and a huge fan of the brand, but I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is even the least bit curious about owning a Mini. Once you drive one, there’s no turning back.
