This is like going to a estate sale where someone else has picked out the junk and just left you with the good stuff. That means it is not cheap, but it is a good deal and a substantial bargain over buying something new. And their stuff is more interesting than new furniture anyway! I got a beautiful, sturdy, massive desk and a bar cart, both at great price. Bar carts are insanely expensive if you buy them new, and they further marked down the bar cart for me since I was buying the desk at their asking price. Staff was friendly and hooked me up with movers to haul the huge desk for me, same day.

Charming consignment furniture store. Was looking for a headboard and this was my first visit here. Very nicely set up, lots of interesting high quality furniture from dining sets to desks, to curio cabinets, to headboards. We did find a queen size headboard with footboard that was lovely and the price was right but opted to look around, not because we didn’t like it but because we thought with the footboard it would make the room look smaller. The person helping us was very courteous and pleasant and even measured the headboard to make sure it was a queen size. I’ll definitely be checking out this store again. (Worthy note, proceeds benefit several charities.)

Let me be honest here, I use the post office next door quite often and for the life of me thought this was a lighting store. So I never stepped foot in here until recently. With that being said, I will continue. Meh, I don’t agree. These are not bargain prices. If you want to pay full price on an item, go to Levin’s or something like that. I walked in with one item on my mind, and after looking at the price, I knew that I was not in the right place. Especially when that same item that was in the store was listed at a fifth of the price elsewhere. I will say that the store is set up amazingly. It was welcoming and inviting. However, the employees in the store at the time of my visit were not. I was not greeted nor acknowledged. They were more engrossed with a conversation they were having with a friend that just stopped by. In fact I felt like I wasn’t wanted in the store at all. I will probably never come back here. Craigslist has a better listing sometimes if you are looking for something old and sturdy. I understand that their proceeds go for good deeds, but in order to get those proceeds you need to acknowledge your customer first.
