I received a free hair cut as part of a class session a few months ago from Philip Pelusi in Southside and even had the opportunity to discuss with Philip himself styling tactics and tips.
The salon was very professional and helpful. The cut was nice and the products I bought that were Philip Pelusi brand worked really well (temporary hair color rinse.)
I would schedule again with this salon in the future.

I cannot speak of other stylists, but Kristin is very good at cutting my hair! I have fairly thin and extremely straight hair and she does an exceptional job on my hair! She never cuts it too short either, which I appreciate. I would highly recommend Kristin. I have recommended others to her and they are very pleased also.

I am used to paying $ 15 for a haircut, and ended up instead paying $ 26.95 here (not including gratuity) for a haircut I am not at all happy with. The girl that cut my hair had to keep asking her manager what to do, and she even took over at one point. I will not be returning here.

I used to go to the Philip Pelusi salon in Bloomfield what seems like ages ago. I got the sexiest best styled cuts of my life there. I then decided to go to the South Side location about 2 months ago.
They took me at a moments notice which was great as I usually decide I want a haircut when I wake up in the morning.
I told the stylist I was looking for something drastic, very hip, and completely different. I ended up with maybe a few inches trimmed off the back of my almost shoulder length hair.
A SLIGHT a-​line is not drastic and over the top. I even took many many images of ideas for the cut. While having my hair washed was lovely, the cut really left a lot to be desired.
The service itself was good, the people were friendly, but I felt somewhat disappointed in the bland unimaginative cut.

Seriously terrible haircut and service. The lady took about 15 minutes to cut my hair total, with no care or attention to detail. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Go to SuperCuts or somewhere for $ 10 haircut of much better quality.

I usually go here for an eyebrow wax but won’t go back after this morning. The aesthetician (Whitney) is great, however, the receptionist is not. I was short with her because she wanted me to change my appointment (which was made a month ago) because they had a wedding party. Ordinarily not a problem, but today I couldn’t be flexible. And my brows take all of 15 minutes. I felt badly and apologized to her. First time she did not acknowledge me but I thought she hadn’t heard me. Second time she also did not acknowledge my apology, however she happily ran my card with my payment. So I am done. I’m not sure I even needed to apologize except that I felt badly. The salon is extremely convenient for me but I will not go back.
