Pip’s Diner changed ownership in 2010 and is now Johnny’s Diner. The restaurant was featured on Rick Sebak’s documentary«Pennsylvania Diners and other Roadside Restaurants» back in 1993. Unfortunately, I can’t find the clip online, but I urge you to watch the piece in its entirety sometime. The documentary airs occasionally on our local PBS affiliate. And no, this cat did not own the joint…

Hey There Pip’s, Well Pip’s is one of those places you drive by all the time, but never stop because it looks like a dive. Well, it is and I finally stopped. From the Table of Knowledge to the Powerball machine it’s a small Diner in e very respect. If you don;t watch them cook your food, it’s awesome. But, when you watch them at that grill, it’s not the cleanest place and you just see it more sitting at the counter. Sit at a Booth, do yourself a favor and enjoy.
