Pizza Vis just had a soft opening that. started Wednesday. It is located in Brentwood next to Milestone bar on Brownsville road. It is owned by a gentleman who also has a hand in the restaurant Davio on Carson in the Southside. During their soft opening they are offering pizza, wings, burgers, and fries with many more menu items to come. They currently do NOT deliver and it CASH ONLY. Both of these MAY change as they get the restaurant up and running. Currently there are 2 four top tables and 3 two top tables. If you are having a drink at Milestone you can order from Pizza Via.
The manager Steve is super nice and is a go getter-​trying lots of new ways to get great food out to people of the Burgh.
We had four adults in our party. We ordered a small cheese and a large pepperoni. Our orders were quickly taken and our hot fresh pizzas were done quickly. The pizza crust is brushed with a butter and herb finish. They definitely don’t skip on cheese or toppings. The crust was soft on the inside and a little crispy on the edges. The butter and herb finish definitely took the pizza to a higher level. The sauce is good and does not overwhelm the crust. Everyone in our party enjoyed it and we would all go back to try more menu items.
