Prestige Delivery Systems

I selected ‘2-​day shipping’ on my order. It turned out to be 4 days actually. They lied to Amazon that they did deliver it on 2^nd day. Srsly?
The worst part was they dropped it at wrong address. It happened to my friend’s apt. So I got it luckily.
Screw this company, never again.

Bad service. This went through Amazon and apparently carrier noted they attempted delivery but said was not there on Friday night. Monday they attempted again and just left on my door step without ringing the bell.

Prestige SUCKS. This is the third time I’ve had an Amazon package delivered (I use that term loosely) via Prestige. The first time, it was marked delivered but wasn’t, and showed up the following day. The second time it was marked «lost», but instead magically showed up a few days late. This time it was marked delivered, and, again, wasn’t.
I contacted Amazon every time. They are always good about refunding for the items you don’t receive on time, but that doesn’t fix the problem. I pay for Prime. I pay for two day shipping. STOP USING THE CARRIER!!!
This time was the final straw. I called Prestige directly to ask where my box was, considering it was marked delivered yesterday and still hasn’t been. The guy called the delivery driver, and came back to the line to tell me the driver said he remembered it was a condo complex, but everything looked the same and there was nothing to identify which one was which (OH EXCEPT FOR THE LARGE NUMBERS ON EVERY SINGLE GARAGE THAT MARKED THE ADDRESS),
… so HE LEFT IT ON A RANDOM PORCH. Are you SERIOUS?! Who does that??? If you cannot find the address you either look harder, or you return the package as undeliverable.
That is unacceptable. So unacceptable, that the third time is the charm, and I called Amazon and cancelled my prime membership. If they cannot guarantee that they will no longer use Prestige, as I’ve asked them to, then I do not feel comfortable ordering things that may or may not be personal or with time constraints, and having them delivered to… um, well, anyone, who will have access to my items, along with my full name and address.
My favorite part is how, when I said, in disbelief, that the package goes to the condo that HAS THE SAME MATCHING NUMBERS AS ARE ON THE BOX, the lazy, incapable guy I spoke with at corporate was just like «Welp, the driver said there weren’t any. Hold on and i’ll transfer you to amazon customer service.» How about you do your job instead? If you can’t, then the company needs to find people who can.

This place, quite unfortunately, is NOT closed. By the looks of it, the business might have recognized that this page was their business (since that «Work Here? Unlock this business page» doesn’t show).
These people occasionally handle my
orders. This business is the sole thing that is killing Amazon for me right now.
People want their packages on time. Most people these days don’t care when you leave a package at the front door, especially when the value of the package really is no more than a few bucks.
I first dealt with Prestige back in August 2010 when ordering something from Amazon. Using Amazon.com’s tracking system, I got more updates on the status of my package than Prestige’s own website did. But even those updates were not accurate.
Like the many other complaints listed prominently on Amazon.com’s forums (
), Prestige does NOT know how to deliver things, especially to apartments. My august 2010 order took over a week after their scheduled delivery date to arrive.
once again, i’m cursed with their horrid delivery service now. I called prestige this morning, one day after my package was supposed to arrive, to ask them whether the package is out for delivery. they said yes. i asked whether it would be ok for me to leave a note for them to leave the package outside, and they said yes. (i had known to do this after my august incident, which unfortunately, didn’t change anything as i still had to be in person, and run after the man while he headed to the car no more than 15 seconds after ringing the doorbell). i came back from school tonight around 830PM (30 minutes after their latest delivery time), and with no surprise, my note was still there, damp now from the rain/​snow, and no package.
what are you guys doing there? anyone?
i called CS and they close at 7PM. it’s great how they clear everyone out of the office 1 hour before all the complaint calls come flooding in. coincidence, i think not.
i called amazon, who told me that they have it on their system that the package was supposed to arrive today, but it hadn’t. they told me to call back after 4PM PST in order to file a lost package claim.
amazon, please stop using prestige. UPS, my love for you grows stronger by the package.
