Schachner Assocs

I was recently involved in a court proceeding where Dr. Schachner provided evaluations of the involved parties. Rather than give my own impressions first, I will quote the judge’s final ruling:
«It should be noted that [in the] Dr. Schachner report, he literally wrote what would later be the testimony of each of the witnesses at trial. His report concludes that he will not decide credibility, … and not seemingly being concerned about the truth. … This court decides credibility.»
And later:
«…this court specifically finds that Dr. Schachner was not credible…»
And again:
«The court finds that Dr. Schachner’s evaluation is not credible…»
My own personal interaction with Dr. Schachner was not unpleasant, but he certainly did not seem entirely all that interested in the matter being held in the court in his questions of me. This may explain why the judge was thoroughly underwhelmed by his report.
