It’s a Subway shop so it conforms to what the«norm» is. There’s no place to park unless you manage to snag a spot in front of the store. The inside needs updated but you can serve yourself fountain drinks instead of having to wait for a refill. There are no condiments in packets so if you forget to order it you will have to ask for it to be added. This is one of only a few Subway locations that have unsweetened iced tea so that’s a huge plus for me. Most of the foot traffic is walk in /take out. You can call ahead and order it for pick up so if you need more than a couple of subs, that’s the best way to deal with it. I think the service you get greatly depends on when you are going and if you are dining in. There are only a couple of booths so things can get a little chaotic when a huge group shows up. It’s not the best Subway location and sometimes the Russian employees are hard to understand when they talk but if you are stopping to get gas or hitting Rite Aid, it’s a place to get a quick meal if Get Go is backed up out the door

Why is this here when Deli On Butler is right across the street, catacorner from it actually? Or rather, why would anyone come here when DOB is catacorner from it? You can get a gorgeous, titanic Italian hoagie for just under 8 bucks, one that is loaded with homemade fixings and Boar’s Head lunchmeat. At Subway, you have to order extra meat. Yes, roll your eyes, by all means. Besides, DOB has sides, like potato salad, cole slaw, and all other manner of delicacy an elderly woman conjured, putting her heart and soul into. Subway has… chips. Bagged chips will never equate with love like soup does, something else DOB offers that this Subway does not. Prior to my discovery of DOB, I used to come to this Subway each weekday until the service went downhill, thus breaking my habit. I think this juxtaposition helped teach me just how much more select independent, family-owned eateries generally are. Subway, DOB has you in its grip. Your demise will be inevitable. If you come here and not to DOB, granted when DOB is open, shame on you. You’re not saving that much coin anyway.
