I admit up front that I don’t know much about comics and Magic but this was an interesting shop. It’s a small place and it is filled with tables. We were nicely welcomed by a gentleman. The tables were pretty full and the guys sitting at them and preparing to game. We didn’t want to be a disruption so we left. The shop is small but clean. There is merchandise on every wall. They had comic books, t-shirts, action figures, and other things. My son who was with me said it was a nice shop.

Man, as a comics fan who has lived in Brookline all his life, I am glad that someone finally opened a comics shop on The Boulevard. I stopped in for the first time on my way home from a date. If you’re a gamer, you’ll probably have a ball here. They have a table, and whenever you walk by or check in, there’s some sort of tourney going on. I gave up D&D in high school, so I’m not up on that. But the place attracts the gamers fer sure. Me? I’m here for the comics. I don’t want to nitpick because they just opened, but I hope they increase their comics selection. So far they only offer new comics and some recent back issues. But again it’s a «baby» store. Hopefully it’ll improve in that regard, since the competition is getting fierce. :) They do offer a pull service too. I was reminded once more of how fun it is to just go to a comics shop as opposed to buying online. I spoke to the owner for a half hour about comics and whatnot. It’s funny how ya can’t stop yappin’ when ya meet a fellow comics fan. lol. He’s a really nice guy, and I hope this store takes off. He deserves it. I’ll be stopping in again.
