One of the salesmen at this store totally wasted my time. In fact, he continued to waste my time even after I’d left the store. I have super-flat feet so, when I was visiting Pittsburgh, I visited this store as I don’t have a Walking Company near me and they carry a brand of shoes I wanted to try(Abeo). The fellow who helped me was very conversational and helpful. He had me walk across their computer pad thing and found two pairs of shoes for me to try: a pair of Ecco as well as the Abeo pair I wanted to try. Well, they didn’t have either in my size(I’m about a 14 ½) so he ordered me a pair of each to be delivered to my house. He told me each pair runs large, and, in fact, was wearing one of the pairs I selected in a size smaller than I usually wore. I’ve ordered shoes off the internet before without trying them on, but by this point he had instilled some skepticism in me: his chattiness had turned into cattiness, with him making snide comments about other customers and his manager to me. Totally unprofessional… but I purchased two pairs of shoes for $ 400. I was hoping at least one would fit. Shoes arrive, and, bravo, too small. Not even close. They shipped them to me for free, but if I were to return them, I’d have to pay to ship them back. Remember I said I didn’t have a Walking Company near me? Here’s how he continued to waste my time: I traveled an hour to get to my nearest Walking Company to return these shoes and try on another pair. Turns out there was no hope of either of those shoes ever fitting me as they don’t come in my size. Adding insult and injury to insult: the orthotics that he told me were included? Not included, and, because they were too wide, I kinda slipped on them inside my other shoes(he said try them with my sneakers) and sorta rolled my ankle.

First attempt at the store: I’d give a one star or a two star… Here is why: We walked in and the girl behind the counter didn’t even welcome us to the store or anything. We wondered around a little and looked at what was on the walls. After a good five minutes of aimlessly looking, we went and asked for help. She was helpful when helping me find an insert and a shoe style — I will give her that. I eventually ended up with two shoes, and picked the pair that was on sale. She claimed that both were non-slip and equally as supportive. However… I brought the shoes home, which she told me were non-slip shoes — the selling point for why I bought them. I came home and did alright with them around the house, and after three weeks I began wearing them to work. Only to skate around like a hockey player. I looked the shoes up online only to find out they were not non-slip! We were literally 29 days into the sale — you have thirty days to return them. We placed a call to the store, and the manager said not to worry about a thing and to get down at our earliest convenience. Here is there 5 star review: the manager we talked to and the gentlemen we returned the shoes to were flawless from the moment we talked with them. We had not a single problem returning the shoes after the 30 day mark(they were in perfect condition). I would definitely consider going back so long as the sales clerk I had the first time wasn’t the one assisting!

Impressed with the quality of shoes sold here as well as the customer service. When I was searching for a nice airport friendly shoe they got me into the right ride. Unfortunately after only 2 months the shoe malfunctioned and I returned it, they replaced it no questions asked. I respect that! Hopefully this pair lasts for 3 years plus. I would come back here again.

They use a misleading sales pitch when selling their shoe inserts: You hold your hands together palm up in front of you. Sales rep pushes down and pulls you forward declaring you«unbalanced» as you can’t resist. Then they have you stand on their inserts and do the same thing. Only this time they only push downwards on your hands and viola! You are now«balanced» with their magic inserts. I felt like my intelligence was insulted. I did buy a pair, simply based on how they felt in store and high hopes that they’d help with my arch. Inserts turned out ok. Check them out if you need arch supports, but don’t expect much useful help.
