Womancare Associates – Doubletree

I have seen a couple of the women care doctors and they are all professional and do a good job, but Dr. Smith is my favorite. She really listens to you and takes the time to explain things. She’ll often draw you a picture to try to explain exactly what is going on in there. I had a procedure done and was pretty nervous about it, she helped me feel at ease and the whole process was almost painless. You wont find a more caring, down to earth doctor out there!

I like that this gynecologist’s office is located downtown and is within walking distance of many other places. I make appointments here for my annual exam. It is a bit odd that the office is located inside a hotel, but some other businesses are on those floors as well. You just walk through the hotel lobby and into the elevator to go to the correct floor. The waiting area is comfortable with chairs and magazines. When I got called back to the room, an employee there asked me some questions and took my blood pressure. She must have been new because she forgot of what questions she was supposed to ask me. Then the doctor came in. The doctor was very nice. All was well, and then I was soon on my way home.

So going to the obgyn isn’t exactly the funniest thing in the world but I have to say the nurses and doctor I saw worked hard to make sure I was comfortable.
To start the office is in the double tree hilton hotel down town which is a bit different but the cookies in the lobby are quite good. Walking into the office I was greeted by a very nice front office lady. She took my info and I waited to be called back. The waiting room is cozy with a nice open window that looks out over the city and a tv so you don’t miss your daily talk show.
Once in the waiting room the nurse went out of her way to make sure I felt comfortable and went over everything I needed to know. She was just fantastic. The Dr I was was also very good and didn’t leave me in the dark as to what was going on. I will definitely be returning to the office. They are so friendly. I even got a feel better kit after my procedure. Which was nice because I was so nervous and hadn’t even eaten breakfast that day.
