Monroe Street Suites

Our family loves staying at Monroe Street Suites. You can’t beat the prices, the Kremer/​Musgrove family really goes the extra mile to make sure the guests are taken care of. The rooms are always clean. The first place I call when I’m coming for a visit.

What an unexpected surprise! I had no idea this place existed until today. The front desk attendant (co-​owner) was very nice and held the door for us and offered to help us carry stuff in, that is very rare!
The entire building is clean, quiet and feels like home. Each room has a loose jungle theme, we stayed in the «monkey room», which wasn’t quite «monkey» enough for my liking — MORE MONKEYS! Room was one of the nicest I’ve stayed in, 5 star feel for 1 star price.
You have to ask for mini-​fridge, but they’re available if needed.
I would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone.
Pros: Clean, quite, comfortable. Secured building/​security. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. Nice common guest area, personal storage lockers for added security. Snacks, soda, oatmeal and water available. Free York peppermint patties at desk. Price.
Cons: The wi-​fi is free, but was a little slow, but better than nothing considering the alternative (no coverage for Verizon 3G or 4G). TV is old and small. A 20″ LCD or bigger would set the room off and make it even better.
