Embrasse-Moi

My experience with Embrasse Moi was less than stellar. I heard great things about this store so I had high expectations in finding a bra that was going to be perfect for me. When I visited the store, it was a very busy Saturday afternoon. I had to wait a little bit to be taken care of but when it was finally my turn, a sales person approached me and asked how they could help. I explained that I just had breast reconstruction and her immediate response was «Oh, how exciting!!» I explained that it wasn’t so exciting for me… it was breast cancer. The sales people, especially in this kind of specialty store, should know the difference between reconstruction and augmentation. I almost left the store at that point. I had to choke back my tears and push forward.
The sales person never measured me. Asked me what size VS had measured me at, gave me a bra in that size and said it fits perfect. She brought me probably 30 bras to try on. Which I appreciated because I had no idea which style was going to work best for me. I ended up selecting 2 bras. The next day I wore one of the bras and it felt very uncomfortable. When I took it off after work, I looked at the tag and saw that the band was a size smaller than what I need. It would have been nice if the person ringing me out would have noticed that the bras were 2 different sizes. Now I’m stuck with a bra that I will probably never wear again. Disappointing!!!

This place is a godsend! If you have an abnormal bra size there is nowhere else to go. I get that they seem pricey but if you’re looking for a cheaply made bra go somewhere else and if you have large breasts that never seem to fit into any bras, these ladies kick ass and take names. The staff is sweet as pie and full of darling women.

I really, really want to love this store. It’s beautiful, and the staff are so incredibly warm and friendly and patient. Truly five stars for the service alone. Unfortunately, I can just never find a bra that fits in the way that I like. The staff will measure you and bring in tons of different bras for you to try. They are respectful when you say that you like a certain style, but will also throw in a style that they think you’d look good in as well. I actually really liked that, as I was able to try on some styles that I never would have on my own. I like a particular fit, and none of the bras that I tried on were able to fit me in the way that I prefer. The staff is very attentive, and will check in on you regularly to see what you’re liking and to check the fit. Even though i was told many of them were fitting my perfectly, I just wasn’t sold. I do wish that customers would be able to look through all the different bras on their own and not have to 100% rely on the staff to bring them to you. I understand it’s part of the personal service, but it would be a nice option.
They also have beautiful wedding lingerie, clothing (lots of resort wear when I was in last), shoes and jewelry. I was in close to closing time, and they were hosting an after hours surprise bachelorette party/​private shopping event. So cute!
I definitely won’t give up on Embrasse-​Moi; I know they must have a bra that will work for me! But the staff are some of the warmest people I’ve encountered in a retail shop!

Pricey, but beautiful. I found my favorite bra of all time — Chantelle. It has memory foam padding so it’s clearly the most comfortable bra in the world. The fit is perfect and nearly undetectable under any shirt. I’ve also picked up so fancy undies, candles, and jewelry.
They have a lot of really beautiful clothing items beyond the lingerie selection including high end designers. These items are out of my price range, but a girl can dream. Think cashmere, leather and beautiful sequined dresses.
They also offer fittings, which I highly recommend as you should always purchase a bra that fits you perfectly no matter your size.
The owner is often there and is very sweet and helpful. She will offer great suggestions and chime in with funny stories.

This store is beautiful and appealing. The ladies were very approachable and extremely knowledgable. They took wonderful care of us, we will be back again for sure.

This is a great store & so cute! It is on Main Street in Pittsford. I went in for a bra fitting and they were great. I love the bra that I got, it fits great! These girls know what they are doing. Lots of other things in the store too! (clothing, shoes, swimsuits, etc…)

This is a great place. I went in for a bra fitting and they were extremely helpful. They really work with you and will find what you want in store or will order it in for you. Yes, it is expensive, but everything is of great quality.

I have always loved Embrasse-​Moi for its friendly, helpful staff and excellent selection of beautiful lingerie in a wide array of sizes. I am a 38D, not such an easy size to find, and they always have a box full of options for me to try out. Though these factors alone are worthy of a five-​star rating, I was today moved to write this review in response to a gesture of community good will extended by the business owner.
Last week my best friend’s mother had a sudden heart attack and died in a matter of days. My friend spent much of the week in the hospital and planning her mother’s funeral services. As a result, she was unable to use an Embrasse-​Moi GroupOn before it expired.
Obviously, in the grand scheme of things, the coupon expiration was no big deal. But since my friend and I have made it a girl-​bonding habit to visit Embrasse-​Moi together – and since I am eager to put a smile on her face however I can during these difficult times – I today visited the boutique to see if they would still honor her coupon. Without batting an eye, the owner/​CEO expressed her condolences and immediately agreed to an extension. They wrote a gift card for my friend equal to the full GroupOn amount right on the spot.
My friend and I both grew up in the area, and it makes me extremely proud that a local businessowner would extend this gesture toward a fellow community member. Thank you, Embrasse-​Moi!

I have had exceptional experiences in this store every time I have shopped there. I went to the store for the first time in December 2009 never having bought a bra from any store other than a department store. I have since returned at least three times and have purchased bras, panties, gowns and a bathing suit. They have a great range of sizes and a great range of prices.
My experience from the moment I walked in the store was positive.
I cannot say enough about the quality of the staff who work here. They really bend over backwards to make sure that you find something that meets your expectations. They really know what they have in stock and how the bras are supposed to fit. Emily helped me the first two times I was in and she was excellent at helping me find bras that were sexy, pretty and supportive.
I recently had some bras altered here and I am very pleased with the quality of the alterations.
Also, they have THE BEST MIRRORS in the dressing rooms.
I will not be buying my bras anywhere else but here.
