This is your standard frozen yogurt bar with a good mix of toppings. They do have a decent variety of yogurt favors, more so than many other locations I would say. The kids love it so that’s good enough for me.

Yotality has locations all over, but this one stands apart from the rest. The setup is typical of what you’d find in any frozen yogurt business. When you enter grab your cup, fill with frozen yogurt and go crazy with toppings. I always find that prices at these places can be pretty steep compared to your neighborhood ice cream parlor, but it’s okay for the occasional splurge. The Pittsford Yotality has several several toppings available for customers. Aside from the typical candy or crushed cookies, they have fresh fruit and various cake options. If in the area, I can’t resist and you shouldn’t either. Indulge!

Like others have said, it is difficult not to make good FroYo. So lets just agree that the froyo is as good as you were hoping. And of course Pittsford village is adorable as it should be with the high real estate taxes and expensive rent prices. I even understand the slight difficulty to parking with no off street parking. There is a good argument that you get what you paid for. Fair enough. Bottom line is a good location. To me the reason I gave three not four or five stars is not because of the food but what happens when I am in Yotality. When I am in Maui and go to a FroYo I am immediately treated as important, giving many little cups to try different yogurt. More so when busy there is a person who’s entire job at that moment is give the paper cups. Yes Yotality will give you a cup(1) if you ask, assuming you know to ask. To go further the FroYo is at the opposite area where the cashier/paper cup is. So when I came to Yotality Not knowing the set up I walk in, go immediately to the far end to see the yogurt then realize there was no easy way to taste it. Ok so I then had to Walt to opposite area and wait while people were paying. Finally I saw a sweet little girl at the cashier, she was probably 16 looked like 14, sweet nothing to complain about with the person. Asked if they give cups to taste, the sweetly gave me 1, I assume the owner or manager taught the one cup plan. I assume if I asked for more they would have given me more, but why should I have to ask? Ok so I then had to walk back to the other end to then finally taste and buy. This may seem as I am complaining a lot about walking 15 yards, but you have to understand there were a lot of people to move thru. Kind of reminded me of the old Can of Worm Expressway problems. Ok, so that is why I dropped 2 stars even though the location and quality were as good as I would ask. You may think I am an embellished complainer but keep in mind the following, Yotality may be the best in Monroe County, but I have been in Maui where location is even More expensive but the Frozen Yogurt was priced about the same with great service and great quality.

This place is awesome! I know there’s a lot of copy cats and variations however, as far as I’m concerned, being located within the village of Pittsford, close to everything and consisting of a super friendly staff with an ever changing special flavor, this is the best place to go for a «healthier» option for desert when the restaurant you’re coming from didn’t quite have the right selections for you. Or, perhaps it’s the middle of the day and you need to fix that sweet tooth of yours, what’s better than a couple of layers of delicious fro-yo to brighten up your day! It’s practically like getting a work out in at the same time as you’re eating«desert,» because you can take your cup/bowl and biodegradable spoon and walk around Schoen place and the Canal at the same time! It’s almost like eating celery, burning more calories that you’re taking in… ALMOST! ;-)

My favorite froyo place ever is Red Mango. Thus, all other froyo places are measured by this scale. Yotality is definitely my favorite in Rochester. I personally always go for the original tart(not a fan of other flavors in general) and Yotality has it down pretty good. They recently opened a new location on Mount Hope so I know many college students are now flocking here. I believe they also opened one up in Brighton though I have not been there yet.

Best froyo spot in the ROC! Awesome location in the pittsford village, this place is perfect. Many options for toppings and frozen yogurt and they change up the flavors here and there. Price is obviously by weight so you can’t complain. Nice to buy some froyo and go walk on the canal.

Not sure why their yogurt seemed pretty subpar. Same flavors as most of these types of places, but they seemed runny? I make about the same creation at each place we go and yet, this one was a disappointment.

Yotality has great frozen yogurt which is obviously key for a froyo place. The environment in the place leaves a little bit to be desired, it can get really really packed, but its a lot easier to just to talk your yogurt and walk down to the canal which is always awesome. The toppings are great, and its obviously super popular. I’ll forever miss Ben and Jerry’s, but Yotality is a really solid replacement!

The vast selection of froyo flavors and toppings are great, my only complaint is the delivery method. Now, on paper, self serve is a great idea. You can control portion size, make it as healthy or unhealthy as you want, make it as cheap as you want etc… In reality, every time I have been there, there has been the streptococcus covered hand of a child just chillin’ in the gummy bears. Yotality can’t be blamed for this, it’s the fault of the parents who let their kids do whatever they want. It’s ok, I guess, I’m sure the pertussis-covered graham crackers will mix well with my cake batter froyo.

Froyo places have been flocking everywhere back home, so its about time that rochester gets one! Flavors are limited, toppings are limited(the mochi that accompanied my froyo was super stale), but nonetheless, its pretty amazing.

Good god, I love this place. More locations, please. Also, once I had Graham Cracker flavored FroYo in NYC(16 Handles), so literally that’s the only other thing I’d ask for.

I like the idea but the yogurt was not that tasty. It seemed watery(?) It was very popular, even on a cooler night. I wished that I liked it more because the idea of building your own sunday with fresh ingredients is a good one. But…

It’s mediocre frozen yogurt with a gazillion toppings. The overall taste/quality is ho-hum. I think it’s more gimmick/novelty than anything else. Hence, my rating of 2⁄5.

While trying to make it through the sweltering summer months sometimes the only thing that can keep you temporarily sane are sweet frozen treats. The major issue is that I love ice cream. On the surface this wouldn’t seem to be an issue as it is delicious and can come in all shapes and flavours, but it is one of the heaviest foods both calorically and how it sits in your system. Nothing makes you feel quite as bad the next day as an ice cream binge and I have started to prefer alternatives to the classic. Properly made sorbets are probably my favorite and gelato with the generally small serving size comes second. Frozen yogurt seems to have been forgotten in my mind and that’s a damn shame. When done up right, frozen yogurt combines the best of soft serve ice cream inside a much healthier package and Yotality pulls it off nicely. Unlike a lot of these style places, you serve yourself from the machines that are around the room. There are over a dozen different flavors in pairs of two allowing for swirls and different combinations. After you get your yogurt, there are a ton of different toppings including candy, chocolates, fresh fruits and some different options like fruit boba and mochi pieces. I have been getting the tart yogurt which tastes the most like real yogurt mixed with the mango sorbet with fresh mango and the mango boba. The mango comes out nicely and I’m partial to the popping boba in between the smoothness of the yogurt/sorbet. My only contention with the whole experience is the price. Your choices are weighed and you pay based on weight alone which is fair but the price per pound seems to be a bit high for what you get. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend this as a slightly more healthy option than ice cream and also delicious at the same time!
