Susquehanna Brewing Company

I love their beer and the tour was really relaxed and fun. The space is large enough to host a few dozen people. I think it would benefit from more seating or at least a little lounge area to relax with your brewskie after the tour, but other than that I loved it.

The lemon shandy is probably my favorite beer right now a mix of lemonade and beer that is so smooth and refreshing with the perfect amount of sweetness and acidity that finishes so well, can’t believe this from my backyard.
I’m definitely going to try to do the tour at some point maybe when my bro is in town he’s a beer aficionado I’m sure he’ll agree with me about this beer and the other varieties is well, so good.

I visited for a tour — and I would recommend that anyone who’s in the area stop by! The tour was so interesting and informative — it was given by the brewer, which make it all the better. One of the best brewery tours I have ever been on.
They give out free samples and all of their beers are amazing. Their Shandy is the best I have ever had and the Pils Noir is so different and delicious. Their hefeweizen, pumpkin, Oktoberfest, IPA… honestly, all of them are wonderful. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a tour or just order it next time to see it on draft at a bar. You won’t regret it.

Fantastic tour through their spotless and impressive brewery. Tour lasts about and hour, with access to free tastings throughout — be sure to bring your growlers for a refill, plenty of SBC souvenirs for the super fans!

Support your local brewing company! I can’t say enough about Susquehanna Brewing Company. Love their beer. If you have never tried their Lemon Shandy the «Shady Spot» shame on you! I’ve purchased my 3^rd case since it’s debut. My wife loves it & it doesn’t last long in my house. Also I am a big fan of the S.O. Wheat. If you love Heffeweizen this is your beer ;)
If you have never toured SBC check it out on Saturday’s at 2pm. One of the coolest tours I’ve been on & I’ve been to Yuengling, Troegs, Brooklyn, & a few others but SBC is a must. Good beer produced by solid people :)
If you are interested in sampling their beer at the brewery or having a growler filled or buying a case you can stop by the Brewery anytime and the folks at SBC are always willing to take care of you, cheers!

Going into this event, I didn’t know what to expect. All I knew was that as of about a year or so ago, SBC came out of know where and flooded the local market with their beer in every bar and restaurant. It’s amazing how much following they have and support of consumers and restaurant/​bar owners.
I was there for a charity event to support the Boston Marathon bombing. Don’t believe SBC is open to the public. Just only for non-​profit events. Don’t quote me on that.
They did a great job with the event. There was live music and free Brewery tours. Have a great time. Hope to go back for the next event soon!
