HSR Construction

I have used Steven for several projects for my house. He initially helped me with some minor renovations on my condo, but more recently, helped with installing wiring for internet and TV. He is a licensed contractor and electrician. I have found him knowledgeable and reliable and fair with pricing. He has since been my «go to guy» for small projects around the house. I would recommend him without reservation.

Hsr has done a ton of work for my business, and it has been great. It hard to find someone who cares and takes as much pride in their work. Would use them again and again.

I first met Steven from HSR Construction in 2010 when my husband and I bought a fixer upper in Huntington Beach. We hired him to do a wide variety of jobs, including the demo of the kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms; installation of all new windows and doors (interior and exterior), plus a dog door; replacement of the fascia; installation of the water heater and new toilets; all the plumbing for the bathrooms (sinks, showers, bathtub) and kitchen. He also built six new doors for our linen closets to match our new interior doors. I could go on and on – he did A LOT of projects for us over a three-​month period. Everything (as needed) was permitted with the City, and all of his work passed inspection with no problems.
Steven – who is a licensed general contractor AND a licensed electrician – is a very hard worker. We spent a lot of time together during the three-​month project, and I found him to be very trustworthy and an all-​around good guy. (He doesn’t drink, smoke, or do drugs.) He showed up on time every day and finished everything right on schedule. (Bonus: He’s from England, so he speaks perfect English!)
Steven is now our go-​to guy for all of our household repairs and improvements. I keep a list of things that need to be done and then call him when I have a full day’s worth of projects. (He can do just about anything, but he doesn’t paint or patch drywall or stucco.) We recently had him install a new breaker panel and bring all the electrical stuff up to code, which he did in just a couple of days. (Maybe it was three days.)
Steven may not give you the lowest estimate, but his prices are fair, and I believe it’s well worth a little extra expense to have a guy who shows up ON TIME every day and does what he says he’s going to do.
