This was my first time at this dental office for teeth cleaning, and the first thing I noticed when I walked into the door was the musty smell~ I started to get a bit worried, wondering if the equipment are up to date, or if they don’t get enough business to keep the office looking & smelling new/​fresh.
But after listening to the conversation between the dentist & a patient over at next cubicle I felt more at ease. Dr. Lee was patient in explaining the procedures, and did not pressure me in getting the extra services which he recommended. He also did a thorough job in cleaning my teeth.
Over all I felt Dr. Lee was fairly honest, and if they can some how update the office, that would’ve made the experience that much better.
PS. If you don’t have insurance, it will be $ 75 for regular teeth cleaning, and additional $ 35 for X-Ray…personally I think it’s a bit pricey, comparing to many dental offices that are offering specials in this slow economy.

I’ve been going to Dr. Chien since I had teeth! The office is small and never super crowded. The staff is the most friendly I have ever dealt with. Rather than just treat your discomfort, Dr Chien takes care of your teeth to eliminate future problems. Even now that I’ve moved to San Francisco, I still coordinate my visits home with a checkup as well!
