So I always come here in the morning and have excellent customer service and the few times I’ve come at night have been the worst and it’s not even the employees it’s the mangers they need more of the morning crew at night managers are rude and unpleasant to talk to… the employees go out of their way but managers suck!

They are really slacking on restocking the Halo top birthday cake flavored ice cream. Supply and demand!!! If they are all gone by the first day when you stick them, you should be ordering more. This Ralphs is missing out on making money every time a girl wants to eat her feelings and walks down the ice cream aisle only to find her fix is not in stock. Had this flavor been in stock I probably would have bought em three or four myself. Get it together please Ralphs. It’s summer. Prime time ice cream season. Come on.

Went to this the Ralph to purchase some Kroger frozen green peas and apparently they are still selling recalled Green peas. Nasty !!!

I have been a customer since this store opened, even before it was Ralph’s. Over 20 years I have walked through those doors and wanted to finally share how much they’ve improved. The deli service is excellent. Rochelle treated me with such respect and kindness tonight I really wanted to call her out. The pharmacy is efficient and sorry forgot name, but pharmisist is awesome too! Every department is staffed with quality people now. Better then ever. Keep it up Ralph’s Placentia Your happy neighbors, The Fontes family

I love this store. Floral department has beautiful fresh flowers for a good price. The cheese rolls in the bakery are to die for. Pharmacy department is sharp, got to know me quickly when I moved to the area, and is rarely busy. Employees ask if you need help finding things and I love the checkers. Never a bad experience. I love that they employ those with some disabilities. They also do an excellent job. Can get in and out quickly. Never had a problem.

I’m writing this review because this is the second time they forgot to put items in my bag. It doesn’t sound too difficult of a job, but when you’re an over paid union employee, you don’t care because you can’t get fired. Prices are not competitive, so I’ll just go to Whole Foods opening soon in Brea.

Of all the Ralphs in the area, I probably like this one the best. It’s convenient, it’s in a quiet enough area near some somewhat major streets(Rose/Chapman), it has ample parking, and it’s in a neighborhood that is safe and calm… most of the time. Groceries are pretty fresh and options are pretty good. There are still occasions when they do run out of certain groceries, but they do restock when they can. Had one occasion when they were completely out of mint. Mojito season, maybe? But, of course, I love how cleeeean it is. Can’t help but walk in here, take a deep breath of fresh goodness, and spend money. Prices on meat can be okay. Beware: they can expire a day or two before the actual expiration. Nice center, too. You have a phở place, banks, recycling in the back parking lot of the Ralphs, urgent care, sushi, pizza, teriyaki bowl, kid daycare, woman’s spa, car wash, UPS store… I like it when I can knock off a lot of things off of my to-do list for the day in one area!

This is a review as to the bakery department. I have never eaten anything from bakery that caused me to be sick. I also do not have an issue with any other department. However, the poor customer service demonstrated by the bakery staff is unacceptable. I went in to order in person. I was ignored for over 15 mins. I had to bother the deli staff to get the bakery girl. When she came she wasn’t sure if the actual cake decorator could meet the simple request for an airplane on the cake, she instructed me to call the bakery back. She kept saying I needed to call the number on the bottom of my receipt. I got the order receipt from her and no number was there. When I asked her, she laughed and said, oh you don’t know the number for Ralph’s. I call back to speak with the actual decorator and she actually laughed at my little boy’s request for them to draw an airplane on the cake for his father’s birthday. I said fine, if you cannot draw anything, but can the words I request please still remain? She goes, «what words?(chuckles) ‘oh you mean happy birthday, dada? if you want,(more chuckling) .sure, whatever.» Extremely rude. Needless to say I will not be giving any of my business to this bakery department. Their loss, as I will be placing my annual giant birthday cake orders to Albertson’s down the street.

Richard Putnam is the stupidest sales manager I have ever encountered. He refused my NY state driver’s license because he’s «not familiar with that state’s ID.» I thought he was joking at first but then I realized that he’s not smiling and that he’s actually that stupid. I have a valid NY driver’s license and I look my age of 34 years old. There was nothing unusual about this transaction except that Richard Putnam is an idiot. I’m familiar with a certain level of idiocracy in the world, but an idiot with authority is a tragedy. I told Richard Putnam that I would file a formal complaint with Ralph’s, and I did. I hope gets fired and another high school drop out takes his job.

I absolutely love Ralphs I’ve been going to this one for a long time everyone is fun friendly and caring. However! The Starbucks in Ralphs is horrible! I got a medium Carmel apple spice. Mind you it is understaffed and one one person working. I told her take you time because a line was starting to form. I paid $ 4.00 for my drink and she only filled it half way because she ran out of apple juice and didn’t want to open another Apple juice to make it. And the rest was filled with whip cream. I get that she is busy and maybe rushed because of a small like but for goodness sakes you work at a Starbucks aka fast past you have to learn to deal with lots of people at a time even if you are alone. That doesn’t mean you half ass there drinks! Again love Ralphs however this girl doesn’t know how to do her job properly.

Ralphs if you advertise no wait in checkout lines, can you make sure you have enough staff! The wait was the longest I had in any supermarket!!! Frustrating!!!

The isn’t the largest Ralphs store in the area, but it is my favorite. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is always clean, well-organized and fully stocked. I appreciate the fact that because they have self-checkout, I can get in and out quickly. Their service counters are the best in the area. You can buy fresh sushi, baked or deli items, and their selection is much better than some of the other Ralphs stores in the area. The floral department is always fully stocked with beautiful and inexpensive selections, and the pharmacists are friend and well-informed. For those of you who drink coffee, there is a Starbucks in the middle of the store.

Jonah in STARBUCKSISAWESOME… We just received the best customer service ever from a young lady named Jonah(sp.). She went above and WAY beyond our expectations. I called a local Starbucks to ask to speak to a District Mgr about her awesome service. Unfortunately, since it’s inside a store it’s not«Starbucks» related; However, «Ralphs» related… In any event… Jonah you were so nice and helpful… thank you, Tony & Joyce The Chocolate Chip couple…

The best thing about this Ralph’s is the Starbucks inside. Best one in Placentia. Make sure you get your drink made by Jeremy! He’s awesome!!!

Ralphs is Ralphs. I give kudus to the employees on the floor though. Nobody ever seems to have enough Sprite Zero. In fact, they only have slots for 4. Well, when it takes 5 to get the best deal, that’s kind of a problem isn’t it? I honestly wonder if it’s Coke’s doing as several other stores have the same display setup. On more than one occasion, I’ve asked for help and they’ve always had some in the back. And they’ve always gotten it for me. Good job! Of course, this then begs the question — who’s stocking the shelves? Otherwise, this location was remodeled a few months ago. I’m finally re-learning where everything is, but still get a little confused. It’s nice though. Parking is great. There prices aren’t always the best, and I have no desire to find a Shell station for their rewards, but they have a few items other chains stores don’t so I’ll continue to visit every now and then.

Been going to Ralphs for a few years now and I find that they are generally well stocked and helpful. But what bumps from from a 3 star to a 4 star rating is that on a recent trip, my toddler son grabbed a box of cookies which he promptly dropped on the floor spilling cookies everywhere. I didn’t want to leave a bunch of cookies on the ground and sneak off(b/c that’s uncool) so I took them with me to pay for. At the checkout, I told the cashier that I wanted to buy them but to please throw them away since they fell on the floor and he said that he could just give me another box and to not worry about it. I thought that was really cool of them. Also, love the tiny shopping carts for kids but a little sad that you can’t take them into the parking lot b/c that means if I have a lot of groceries, I’m going to have to transfer those bags to another cart to get out to the car.

+I had some winning lottery scratchers that I wanted to collect on. It wasn’t a significant total, less than $ 75. +The lady at the customer service desk seemed pissed off and disgusted that I was redeeming them. +She didn’t say one word to me before she counted back the money to me. +Geez, sorry that I got a few dollars in my pocket. I spent it right back on groceries.

Always come here convenient I work right next door. I recently started buying sushi from here its actually pretty good. They have a sushi chef always making em fresh and sometimes they have samples of different sushi rolls to taste. Their crunch roll is pretty good. Service here is pretty fast they even have the self checkout which is pretty cool. And ever since they remodeled the store it looks much better

Solid Ralph’s, never seems to be very busy. They did a remodel and the place seems dark and cavernous to me. It seems establishments loooove to have it dark to set a vibe, I dunno. Anyways go to staters for better meat deals, everything else is on par with the other grocery store chains. Staff is pleasant and friendly.
