Short Circuit

Took my Mercedes E-​320 wagon to him over three (3) years ago for the head to be serviced, his brother who is no longer there took the head off and lost many of the parts necessary to reassemble the car. In addition the silver paint has been oxidized due to him leaving the car outside in the weather, all this time Junior kept saying that he would take care of the car and nothing! Now as of this month I was told that Junior put the business in another family members name and is calling it Automobile Care & Smog I recommend that you stay clear of these guys as they are all very unethical business people with great stories, I almost forgot to share what happened to my Mercedes well apparently they shoved it outside without notifying me with no keys and four flat tires, the moral to the story is you can’t be nice to some people as they will confuse your niceness as weakness, Note: Please view my posting also on Rip Off Report and other blogs!

I recently had a bad experiences with my old mechanic of 15 plus years involving overcharging. So my car broke down in the middle of the street. I had it toad to Junior and he kept it for one week trying to find out what was wrong with it. Junior charged me zero dollars for checking my alternator, starter, my battery he even put air in my tire. I started going to Junior after my old mechanic decided to charge my daughter $ 4000.00 for repairs on her car and Junior did it for $ 700.00. What a difference!

I have been going to Short Circuit for about 10 years. Each time I come there Junior always takes care of my issues right away, as if I’m his only customer.
That guy can fix ANYTHING! He has the know how, tools and equipment to repair cars, trucks, motor cycles. The list goes on and on.
The last time I was at his shop, he replaced my trucks water pump, and thermostat. He got right on the job, and didn’t even stop for a break. The job was top drawer, and the price was more than fair. Moreover, he used genuine TOYOTA parts instead of some other junk from CHINA.
I highly recommend SHORT CIRCUIT for all your auto repairs. It’s a real pleasure to do business with such a gifted mechanic, who is knowledgeable, and fair.

I feel like prey when I have to take care of any emergencies with my car. My window was stuck down. On a old Lexus, that is no small problem. I had a recommendation for Short Circuit, called, they took me right in. While I waited, the staff here – now I know them as Pepe and Junior – reassured me that they’d find out the root cause of the malfunction. It was worse than I thought and I was suddenly looking at a big ticket repair. Pepe was really accommodating, smoothed over my feathers, and Junior got on the phone even calling around for a used part (because my car was so old). They dropped everything to fix my problem. I have NEVER experienced such kind service and I’m not even a regular customer. Well I am now! Thank you for helping this damsel in distress. It meant so much.

I can’t say enough good things about this place and jr. I recently had a issue with my Prius. I went to out long time mechanic who charged Me $ 240 just to look at the car had it for a week and told me it would be $ 3000 to fix. I couldn’t afford it. I went to 2 differs locations which were also 2000 – 3000. Long story short I went to jr got it fix for about a whole lot less. My car runs so well. I am
A new lifetime customer.

I have been taken to the cleaners so many times by these car repair guys. I even had a huge problem with a AAA authorized and recommended shop and had to file a complaint with the powers that be.
Junior, who owns this shop, could not be more helpful or honest or inexpensive. He does things, like replace light bulbs, tie up loose mufflers, and the like without charging. How often do you hear of that in these places?!
He takes time to discuss what is up, and being a blonde female, even I get it!
At first, I thought he was only electrical and was recommended by a AAA tow truck guy who came to jump start my battery on my ’87 Westfalia Camper. I realized he did everything on cars, not just electrical. So don’t let the name fool you. He can do it all.
He put shocks on my friends Lexus, repaired my Suburu and did a great job on my Westy.

Recently had a electrical problem with my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. Junior at Short Circuit was able to find the problem and fix it. Several other shops, including a Dealer, had been unable to solve the tricky problem.
Would highly recommend this shop to anyone needing help with their vehicle.
