I attended an apron sewing class at Annieberries at the beginning of April and loved it! The owner is very wonderful woman who you can tell really loves to sew and loves teaching others. I found the prices to be just right for a sewing class in which you got to take home a finished project. Something you have to keep in mind when complaining about the cost of handmade items… fabric is not cheap(unless your shopping the clearance rack at Walmart)…and handmade items should not be cheap. You are paying not only for the crafters materials but also their time… and this is not Bangladesh. If you are looking for cheap… then keep heading up the highway to walmart. But if you want an item made her in the USA, out of quality materials… and cute as a button then Annieberries is a fantastic choice.

Was looking at a few things to buy for my 1 yr old son then my 4 yr old says«mom i have to go to the bathroom right now». asked a person working there if we could quickly use their restroom and she said she didn’t have public bathrooms and i could find a public bathroom across the street. It didn’t sit well with me being they are a childrens store and all. They didn’t seem to really care my child really had to use the restroom really bad. Ooh well. They wont be getting my money. I can find over priced items elsewhere.

Other than being overpriced(but not compared to other child stores) I enjoyed coming in this shop. They are decorated beautifully and not too overcrowded. There is a back room for portraits and a small couch to sit and catch your breath. Also an area for a mommy-to-be with some necessities you might need.

A cute little kid’s store in downtown Placerville. We managed to find some great Melissa & Doug art supplies and toys! They had racks & racks of clothes and a little section for hosted tea parties!(Fun!) Wouldn’t mind stopping by again en route to/from Tahoe. ;o)
