Matt Shepherd is a great chiropractor. I’ve been with him since he started, and even after months of not going in,.he remembers what side has difficulty adjusting or how my pain is referred from somewhere else. That’s a quality doctor. As others have said, he doesn’t keep telling you to come back… if you don’t need it. This is a unique and valued quality in this area. I do not EVER hesitate to refer other people to him, and those I have, have had equally pleasant experiences. Most of them have referred him to their friends. That says a lot.

I have been a patient of Dr. Shepherd’s for years. Dr. Shepherd’s expertise is always prevalent, so he can tell just by looking at me if one hip is minutely lower than the other; if one leg is slightly shorter than the other; or if my shoulder needs a special adjustment. I depend on that, because I have so many injuries. If I didn’t go to Dr. Shepherd once a week for an adjustment I would be in tremendous pain. One of my favorite things about Dr. Shepherd’s method of treatment is that he has a therapy room that contains roller beds with heat and stem pads for relaxing the back muscles prior to getting adjusted. My back gets a better adjustment, because of the therapy prior to the chiropractic adjustment. Dr. Shepherd’s office staff is very kind and professional, also. They know their patients by name and care about how they are. Availability is by appointment, but I’ve also seen a lot of people walk in to his office and get adjusted on the spot. I have always been happy there and I am hard to please.

Dr. Shepherd is a great Chiropractor and helped me to heal up a knee pain that I thought would be debilitating. In 4 office visits and ultrasound treatments I am pain free with full use. I am so impressed with his professionalism and gentle nature. I also fully enjoyed a deep tissue massage by Kristin who was very good. I am deeply appreciative of this non invasive therapy that has saved me a ton of pain, time and money! Well worth it!

I visited Dr. Tsunoda several times and was pleased with his treatment. However, I then had a pain in my upper leg and visited him three times; it actually was a blood clot that could have killed me if I had not been given blood thinning medicine. Although I had the classic symptoms of a deep vein thrombosis, Dr. Tsunoda never once mentioned it to me, never told me to go to a doctor or hospital or emergency room. As a matter of fact, I saw him three times in a week as it was getting worse, he charged me each time, and on the last visit, which he did not even touch me, he merely said«this may not be a chiropractic issue.» I could possibly have died if I hadn’t finally on my own gone to a hospital emergency room.

Dr. Matt Shepherd has repeatedly told me that his goal is not have his patients come back in for additional appointments, but to help them get back to doing the things they want to do in life. I’ll attest to that. Matt worked a small miracle on me, relieving me of chronic pains that I had long ago accepted as a part of my life, and in a surprisingly short period of time. Rather than keeping me coming back for more adjustments for the same pain, Matt has helped me heal from a number of different injuries to my neck, back and arms. The fact that Matt is such a warm friendly guy to boot makes it extremely easy to recommend him to anyone who is looking for pain relief, not just for«back» pain, but for other issues that I would previously have not associated with chiropractic treatment. I should also mention that in Matt’s absence, Dr. Kan Tsunoda is an outstanding complement to the practice. Kan is obviously a skilled practitioner; he was able to quickly assess and treat a recent back injury, giving me the confidence that when Matt is out of town, someone will be there to… watch my back.(sorry, couldn’t resist.) Thanks Kan!
