Chiro One Wellness Centers

I usually go to elite rehab, but temporarily had a work conflict with their schedule. I visited Chiro One to check it out, and felt like I was being sold a used car. The initial visit, they made me fill out a ton of paperwork and have consultations with both an office assistant and the doctor. After about an hour of this, they gave me the worst adjustment I’ve ever had. They told me to come back the following week to discuss my payment plan. When I did, I was pulled into a small room where I was shown a bunch of numbers in hopes to confuse me. Basically, they were trying to discourage me from billing my health insurance in order to receive a «better deal». They wanted me to sign a contract locking myself into 12 months of payments, and then they wanted me to write over an obscene check to cover just the first 3 months of that contract. They told me it was in my best interest to do it, otherwise they were going to charge me $ 187 for my initial visit, which I would have to pay out of pocket because they knew my insurance deductible hadn’t been met. The whole thing felt like total financial extortion and I got up and walked out. I ran screaming back up the road to Elite Rehab, where I have always received excellent care and have never been nickel and dimed.

My 3 year old and I have been going here for 3 months now and I am pleased to have seen real results in my X-​rays. The staff her are very friendly and helpful. I like that they have stretching paired with the adjustments to help train/​strengthen the muscles to support your neck and back properly.

Biggest waste of money! I went in with low back pain and was asked up front for a $ 37 fee for what they called a payment & wellness plan to which I had to come back in the next day for. Left my 1^st visit and never got adjusted… Just $ 37 lighter.

I could barely walk back in Feb.(it’s now Aug.) A $ 20 intro offer began my experience at Chiro one Plainfield. I learned that several spinal disorders were causing me discomfort and severely limiting my range of motion. I was ecstatic when Dr. Amanda assured me She could help, so I signed up for treatment at Her clinic. It was the best decision I’ve made in decades. Her caring approach to healing has Dr. Amanda on a level with such societal heroes as our gallant military, firefighters and police. My health has improved tremendously and I’ve had significant weight loss. I no longer take toxic medications that do nothing to remedy my situation. The program works if you work it, and you will receive all the necessary tools and encouragement to do so. Yes I am required to do my part in conjunction with Dr. Amanda’s incomparable adjustments, but I recommend it to everyone. Thank you so very much my friends @ Chiro Plainfield. I really want to tell you my experience with Chiro One. I was at Grundy County Festival were their stand attracted me because they had x-​rays up of scoliosis. I was told when I was little that I had a start of scoliosis but we never did anything about it. And then about 10 years later I really couldn’t do much of anything because if I was on my feet for only an hour or more I would have HORRIBLE back pain to the point where most of the time I would just lay in bed because I didn’t want to go through it. I was also plagued with hours of headaches which were soon becoming migraines. And I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder when I was 17 (I found out that it was linked later). So I went over to their stand and I learning after they took a small look at my posture that my head was way forward than it should be. Which I NEVER thought my neck was a problem. So they offered to have me go to the clinic that was nearest to me at the time (Plainfield) and get films taken to see what exactly was going on and get an exam for $ 20 (everything would easily cost over $ 300). Which I had films taken before at my physicians office, but $ 400 later and them not ever showing me my films and saying I was «just fine» I liked the idea that for only $ 20 I got someone who would tell me and SHOW me what was wrong. A couple days later I went and it was something I had never experienced before. They greeted me like I was their best friend! Invited me in and we got started with everything. The one thing I remember the most was when I was in the exam room and they said «the Dr. will be right in». I thought to myself, Yeah Right! I grabbed the book they had given me to pass time thinking I would be in there for an hour and before I could even read the first page Dr. Kristy knocked on the door and came in. I was blown away with their fast response to everything and how much they cared about my me. So I got my xrays taken and I came back the next day to see my results and I was shocked! It turns out that my back was not even that bad but my neck had a reverse curve! And I was only 20! She explained to be that the C1 (the top bone in the neck) was at an angle that would explain my depressions and anxiety and the reverse curve was causing my headaches and migraines, and the pressure it was putting on the muscles in my back was causing the back pain. I KNEW I needed care. But now came the next dilemma, I was unemployed and my fiancé was not working many hours. I was almost sure I would have to just walk away but Dr. Kristy worked with me so much because she knew how much I needed care and I will forever thank her for it because after only a few months I got relief from my headaches, my back pain lessened more and more each day, and most of all my depression completely subsided! I didn’t have to take another pill for depression or Motrin for my pain anymore. But that wasn’t the only thing Chiro One has done for me. After 6 months of care I was again unemployed and this was the toughest time ever. We couldn’t even make our bills and I was very worried. I expressed this to Dr. Kristy and she told me they were hiring and showed me where to apply. I did and three weeks later I was hired and started training. I learned the employee’s side of Chiro One. I thought that Plainfield was unique in how caring they were but I soon found out just how passionate everyone in this company is to help people and free them from every day pain, medication, and in general just allowing them to live life to their fullest. I now have worked for the company for 2 months and I think back to 9 months ago when I could barely stand and the shape my life was in and it almost brings me to tears because I see how my entire life has taken a 180. I haven’t even gotten a cold since I have started going! Haha. Its just amazing! And I beg everyone who has the same problems I did, you need to get checked! You will never know how fulfilling your life can be when you are pain free. And for those who don’t have symptoms. Get checked also! Preventative care is something that not many do but if you add up how much it is to go to the Dr. just for just the flu or the cost of medication now its nothing compared to the cost of preventative care. Preventing those things from happening will be the best decision of your life. Thank you so much for reading.
