Chiseled Health and Fitness

My boyfriend and I loved this gym from the moment we first visited! We were on the search for powerlifting gyms near Rutgers and came upon Chiseled last June. We are neither from the New Jersey area, but always make the 1.5 hr drive from PA to train here along with our squad.
This gym caters to powerlifters, weightlifters or anyone who’s into heavy lifting, but there are cardio equipment in the back if you prefer to be a bunny haha. There’s 4+ squat racks, 2+ benches, Olympic bars, stiff bars, bumper plates, Olympic plates and a bunch of accessory machines. The owner also offers boxing classes.
Hiroshi (owner) is probably my favorite part of this gym. He loves the gym, the people and watching everyone lift. He sure is intimidating because he’ll literally watch you, judge your form, but will give you advice on what you can improve on. However, he won’t judge you if you don’t do things the old school way as he learned from back in the day.
The prices here are also super reasonable. I believe it is $ 23/​m and $ 10 for walk-​ins.

Probably one of the best powerlifting gyms in NJ! I was training here a few times in prep for my USAPL meet. I came here with my girlfriend and we absolutely loved the gym!
Gym has all the equipments you need for powerlifting, bodybuilding, crossfit, olympic lifting, and even MMA. 3 Squat racks, 2 benches, 3 platforms, what more do you need?
The gym is always clean and organized! You can also drop your weights because there are bumper plates. The owner is friendly, funny, sociable, and basically badass. His name is Hiroshi. He also has a lot of experience in powerlifting with that old school teaching, but he always love to watch you lift and offer advices on your form, but in the end he doesn’t care what you do as long as you lift heavy! Overall, this gym deserves more members then it should.

Chiseled is a great place to train whether you powerlift, oly lift, bodybuilding, or do crossfit. Multiple platforms and equipment most commercial gyms don’t have including a safety squat bar, lots of bumper plates, fat bar, and reverse hyper. If you are serious about lifting, its one of the best gyms you can go to in NJ.

Great gym. Lots of weights and equipment and recently started offering crossfit. The gym is clean and has plenty of equipment and space to do any type of workout desired.
