Creative Deck Designs

Buyer BEWARE! John Ranos is not a good contractor or business man to work with. He built a deck and patio for us about two years ago. While the process seemed smooth, it is now in shambles! We paid a lot, for a quality product, using TimberTech decking. The product is falling apart already! Trying to get the warranty for the decking materials, John has been non-​responsive and rude. His initial claim that he moved offices was over 2 months ago. His last response was rude, and it appears that he will not be able to provide the receipts for the materials necessary for the warranty.
I am currently considering legal action; my BBB write-​up is near complete. Look into it, mine will not be his first BBB complaint this year.
There are plenty of other builder-​contractors you could work with. We very strongly recommend against working with Creative Deck Designs and John Ranos.

updated 8÷29÷12 After 3 months of non-​response /​no help from John Ranos, we just filed a BBB complaint this evening. Attempting to move forward on the warranty without his help. His BBB grade is already an F before our submission.
