Friday night 100 people in line and one guy checking people out. Are you kidding me??? This is a royal joke. Redbox has a 0 sec wait, I’m going on 20 minutes.

Great customer service. There are always great deals to take advantage of. I love the family friendly environment. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to rent a movie or game.

Our family doesnt watch many movies but this place is much cheaper and more current with new releases than Redbox. They have great coupons and free rentals from time to time. I am not a fan of the old school video rental places but this place is better than most. Would certainly recommend for a new release.
Only knocking off a star because the place is a bit run down and difficult to get into from rt 30.

The closest Blockbuster for me is 20 miles. I’m not joking. Redbox is a joke with a huge lack of current titles. Family Video is maybe 10 miles down 30 for me and that’s fine, it’s on a 50 mph road through corn country and that’s relaxing in and of itself.
I didn’t mind the 15 minute drive down 30 to get to Family Video. Rented two xbox 360 games that are in high demand: Madden 25 and GTA V. They had plenty in stock which was a rarity at Blockbuster when big titles came out. Granted there’s a 20 deposit for in demand games — I took it as a motivator to return the games on time. The only beef is that they don’t list their hours online — The main sites says most stores open at 10:00 am. I showed up at 10:30 on a day off to rent my games and found that they didn’t open until 11:00 am. No big deal. I was happy with everything else there — TONS of movies and games — TONS of games and all at a very fair price. The service was awesome as well.
I hope these guys make it unlike Blockbuster and Hollywood Video. Family Video is all I have left in regards to a video store — I’m not a fan of Netflix, Gamefly and Redbox — I like wandering the aisles at a video store and finding awesome movies and obscure movies. It’s not the same online.

Wow a video store with great customer service. No cards or need to provide personal info to check out a movie. nice alternative to red box or enhance Netflix. Very clean. Courteous staff. Reasonable prices. Free selected movies.
