I visited Happy Jacks for my first time a couple of weeks ago and was very pleasantly surprised. My boyfriend and I are always looking to play pool but the options for places we have locally are scarce. We never knew about Happy Jacks until now and we are very happy we found it! The customer service, food, and drinks were all top notch. I could see us visiting regularly.

I give it 4 stars cause it’s what I expect out a bar! Had the pita pizza… Lots of cheese and LOTS of bacon! Food took a whole to come out but the bartender was very sweet and easy to talk too!

This place is exactly what you expect for a sports bar. It has pool tables, darts, even horseshoes outside and different sports on their many tvs. There’s a dj for the weekend and they play just the right music. Good choice of beers on tap and in bottles. The bartenders are awesome and entertaining. They have a short but great menu. Had their make your own sampler an it was huge and tasty! Mac n cheese bites yes please! Our bartenders served us quick and with yummy mixed drinks especially their pistachio shots! Anytime I’m in Plainfield this is the place for me!

So I finally made it here and I’ll be back. Got the Arugula with Chicken and it was yummy. Lemony, but yummy. Prices seem steep for Plainfield, but whatevs, it was worth it.

Hands down best bar around! Food is incredible, lots of drink options and the prices are low. $ 1 tacos on tue, $ 5 burger n fries on wed, 50 cent wings on fri and sun with tons of flavor options!

I always have fun here and I started playing APA pool matches here on Tuesday nights for the spring session. Great staff… Pool tabes, darts, music, horseshoe pits… my only wish is that they had a wider selection of beers and something a bit more crafty than Sam’s seasonal offering.

This place is alright in my book. I came here last night for the first time and I am very hungover right now. I got really drunk, apparently I was buying all kinds of people $ 2.50 shots of cotton candy vodka. They should not be allowed to make vodka taste like cotton candy. It was chilled and delicious. Shock Top on tap, always a good choice. There were tons of pool tables, a cool DJ, and four dart boards. The place was a complete and utter sausage fest, but most of the young men there were pretty well-behaved. My only gripe was that I wound up with a $ 69 tab. My own damn fault though. The bartenders were pretty cute. That’s always a good thing. They had a cocktail waitress if you don’t feel like walking up the bar to order a drink. I guess I should mention that two people complained about different people charging different prices for beverages. It kinda makes me wonder if I really did have a $ 69 tab. Anyhow, I had fun, the people were awesome, and it was first time stepping into a Connecticut watering hole. I’m hungover like hell today, so mission accomplished! I left Happy Jacks, happy. :D
