Love this place… great homemade soups. My suggestion Portuguese soup would be awesome! Maybe Chourico and peppers sandwich would be a great sandwich special too!

Great food, attentive service, who could ask for more? Def have the pizza… suprizing from a pub… I know, but don’t judge the pub by it’s cover. You will be happily suprised by any choice from the menu… including the fried pickles… yes fried pickles, and they are more awesome than you can imagine. Pizza is quintessential New England, but the best of, by far. Need wings? You will not be disappointed, with many flavors/heats, you will enjoy. Many other things to make this place a stop every time I come through this area.

Traveling in the area around lunchtime, Unilocal led me to the top rated spot. Its a comfortable little hometown pub, with a very friendly staff, fun loving bunch of regulars at the bar, and a quick and handy fry cook in the back. Worth stopping in, I will if I’m in town again. Don’t miss out on a Very good french fry.

This place was such a great spot to find. Food was great, atmosphere fun, and Subaru, the bartender, was the star of the night. Such a sweetheart. We enjoyed the country music and the atmosphere. Definitely would go back again! They are number 1 for a reason.

Great food, cheap drinks, good people! Very small, intimate, and casual. Amy is a phenomenal manager. Friday night karaōke is ways a good time. You have to try the fried pickles and onion rings! The food is so good! Nice, casual, relaxed atmosphere.

Went there tonight for dinner while spending the night in Plainfield. Felt like I was in Cheers. Super– friendly bartender Amy Lou. Fish and Chips was good. Wednesday night is trivia night so the crowd of locals was having a great time. It was fun watching the whole thing. Would definitely go again when in the area.

My friends and I enjoy the homey atmosphere. The homemade fries and wings are our favorites. Also love their fish. It’s always good to see Jolene, she makes you feel like family.

Great food at great prices. Homemade onion rings and coleslaw were the perfect accompaniments to a good burger. Our server was amazing and didn’t make us feel out of place at bar primarily frequented by locals

Now that I’ve been back a few times I can finally pry myself away from the burgers and try something new. Except for the o-rings. No matter what, we’re still getting o-rings. Over the months, no matter who’s cooking, it’s consistent. That’s pretty outstanding in this day and age. Before I start, I gotta say one thing. One of the specials today, spaghetti & meatball w/drink was«all you can eat». FORLESSTHAN a Big Mac meal. OMGWTF??? I can’t even imagine how good it must be. AND all you can eat for that price? Why are you not eating here already? Ok, I’ll keep this a short update. 3 crunchy taco, LOADED with flavorful meat(see pic), crunchy lettuce and some pretty darn good tomatoes(considering it’s March). AND it came with TWO containers each of sour cream & salsa(at no extra charge). Just the amount we like/needed. Side order of o-rings, perfect again. Flavor is delicious as usual. Bitting into these perfectly cooked rings and not having the onion slap down on my chin is always a pleasure. As a kid I really liked to get the fillet o fish at the golden arches. Oh the fond memories. It’s been close to 20 years since I had one. What a great decision to get their version of a fish sandwich today. TWO thin, perfectly moist, crispy, large flaky fillets of fish on a great fresh roll with lettuce and tomato(see pic). Included on the side was, what I can only guess, was scratch made tarter sauce(deliciously creamy & not really sweet). There was some Cole slaw as well. The slaw has a quite a bit of black pepper which I absolutely love. There was also a hint of another herb but I couldn’t place it, but it all worked well together. The slaw is nether heavy on the mayo or vinegar. Just right. Great service and timing as well. Can’t wait to go back.

While traveling from ME to PA, we were looking for a place for lunch. Consulted Unilocal and decided to follow the stars to this place. Very good decision. Great food and service. Local color was fun! We got the pulled pork sandwich, bacon cheeseburger, and onion rings. Super homemade bistro sauce. If we’re ever this way again, we will surely stop back by.
