I come here for dinner at least once a week. The staff is extremely friendly, the food is amazing, and the prices are beyond fair. The drinks are strong, but delicious!

Intrigued by it’s bright green exterior, my friend and I decided to try Iguana’s for lunch one afternoon. Not only do they have excellent specials, but the staff is very friendly and provide great service. Chips and salsa were complementary, delicious, and kept full! This restaurant is not only festive but also fun and colorful! Their chicken fajitas were amazing and they had great accommodations for my friend who is gluten intolerant! I will most definitely be returning in the future secondary to good food, fun atmosphere, and excellent service!

If this is one of the top Mexican places in Plainfield, that makes me very sad.
Complimentary chips and salsa hit the table. Salsa was watery and bland. It didn’t really taste like anything. It looked like salsa and felt like salsa, but it was just a pile of cold on a chip.
Guacamole was also very bland.
Choriqueso was pretty good, but at other places it’s topped with charred onion and tomato. Here is a more literal translation of just Chorizo and Queso
I had difficulty finding anything I wanted. Where’s the taco options? What about chilequiles? A couple of big fun burritos? I got a fajita quesadilla because nothing else seemed awesome. It was okay, but needed salt.
Service was great. Drinks kept full. Price is fair.
I do hope they continue to be loved by the community and remain successful. It’s just not for me.

This place has been totally renovated inside and it’s clean as a whistle! I was greeted warmly upon entry. The service was great and the food even better!
I had a chicken chorizo with Mexican sausage. Everything was fresh and very tasty.
This might be my new lunch destination. I will definitely teturn.

It’s, the second best mexican restaurant in Plainfield. The vegetarian menu could use some tweeking, it does not offer the best selection. However the chimichangas are huge for the price. And the canivore selection is very good, a lot of the typical mexican dishes. The chips and salsa are fantastic and are what seemed to be bottomless (it is just spicy enough to anger my tongue but pleasing to the tastebuds).
The atmosphere is great, clean dining room. From where I sat I could see in the kitchen and it was clean too.

We’ve eaten here 4 times since they opened. The service is always great, the food is good, and the prices are fantastic. They have daily specials. Tonight it was fish & shrimp tacos and any 2 combination dinners for just $ 10.95. Iguana’s is our go-to Mexican place now!
