I was very disappointed with the customer service at the Metropolis location in Plainfield!!! I picked up my new glasses today and when I got home there were mistakes on the frames and the lenses ! And I just now returned to their location to let them know and I did not receive any sympathetic reaction nor a «I’m sorry this happened» !! I gave Jordan, the sales supervisor, plenty of opportunities to say sorry, but it never happened. When I left I even said,” no I’m sorry?” None. I will deal with the manager when I return to get the corrected ones.

Awful, awful, awful. My second pair of lenses are cracking again, even worse than before. I can only surmise they are using a poor quality lens. If you use The Google, this is an on-going LC issue.

There isn’t enough employee’s to help. Very long wait time, had to return glasses since the lenses cracked more then once. Not to hip on this place.

So I am not always a fan of Lens Crafters the company, but I do have to share just how helpful this particular location was to me yesterday. I was in my last evening class when my glasses broke, so I rushed over there around 8:20pm. I had thought I only lost a screw, but it turned out my new glasses were defective. Being from another state and different Lens Crafters I figured I was screwed. Luckily for me, both the lab tech and sales associate were very helpful and kind. I got my frames exchanged and they did it all with friendly service. I cannot thank them enough because I cannot afford not to see, or to pay another $ 300. I think it is safe to say you can trust the work they do and know you are getting personal service, even a half hour before close.

Awesome service, comparable prices. Staff knows their business. I even got my glasses made in an hour, even bifocals!
