Fresh, and delicious food.
We have Dined in and the server was attentive and courteous. We Have also ordered take out and either way it’s always a reliable, tasty meal, at a reasonable price. A great addition to the area. Would be wonderful if they offered delivery.

Good choice, especially on a rainy and gloomy night! Special was shrimp with rice — Paella!!! Excellent! Served in traditional ‘cauldron’ that stayed hot through my meal. Spouse had chicken and pork, also good. Get the black beans on the side. We’ll be back! Charles was the best!

I usually get my food from the one in south plainfield, which I never had a problem, on my way home from Work I decided to order from this place which they said they were the same owners, I order the ½ chicken ½ beef ribs tray that they have, I told then we’ll done, suprise I got home the French fries were no even cook they were all soft and Greese the ribs were berely cook, at that point I was not longer eating that food, so I decided to call them and let them know, so I call them a guy answer I explain my issues with the food his answer was ok, ok, ok, ok, not even an apology moving on I decided to ask for a manager I spoke to a lady she was not helpfull at all either, I work in the food industry I manage a place as well the food quality was poor and the service was poor they need some training and learn how to be nicer

Usually order take out from the paulo’s in south Plainfield but stumbled upon this location on my way home.
This location was a lot smaller but seems pretty cozy. There wasn’t a crowd of people waiting for food like in the south plainfield location, which was nice for a change. The staff was nice and the food came out quickly. as it should because I was the only customer there other than a couple dining in.
I ordered the chicken and ribs lunch special for $ 8 + tax and I was not dissapointed. The food was almost identical to the original location, maybe a tad bit tastier. Similar to the other location though, the chicken breast always looks crispy but once you take a bite, it’s dry and chewy. Luckily the hot sauce helps with that .
Would come here for lunch again.
If you’re not feeling up for the drive, order for delivery!

This was my second time here, and we had another great meal. I added this place to Unilocal,because it is really hard to find online.
The waitress told me they deliver to all of scotch plains and Plainfield… she said they even delivered to Westfield the other day.
The food is delicious, and you get nice size portions for a great price. Even the half size meals can be shared with 2 people… well for us anyway.
It is related to the Paulos in south Plainfield, but this place is smaller and byob. I think I might like the food here better so far. Go and enjoy!
