An extremely shady area at best but they still serve a very solid Texas Weiner.

Out of all the hot dog shop’s around 22 and Plainfield, this one is probably my favorite. The owners are a real nice bunch, friendly and accomodating to everyone. I come here for the hot dogs. They cook the hot dogs on the grill and then warm up the dogs for you to order by putting them in the fryer. The hot dogs themselves have that awesome snappy casing but even better is when they come out of the fryer and have a nice crunchy bite to it. I often switch back and forth between this place and Texas Weiner which is not more than a half a mile away. The chili dog with raw onions is just fantastic. 2 dogs, fries and a soda is about $ 8. Both make excellent hot dogs and I don’t hesitate to stop in either one. Everything is cooked to order. I just hope that folks get the word out and patronize places that actually make good food and not chain restaurants that spit out poor renditions of the real thing.

Red Tower is an Icon in the city of Plainfield… a place to get a decent burger and a coffee long before the golden arches graced our fair city. Simply the best greasy spoon… best tea w/lemon… best breakfast plate… pancakes… eggs grits etc. you name it! Come to get your breakfast or lunch on. It is mostly a «to go» place. Don’t forget to order a California Cheeseburger… You want a fries? You want a cheese with that?

BESTHOTDOGEVER. I been to many hotdog places in NY, CA, and NJ. The best. California burger not bad. HOTDOG(chili dog) is what to get. Chili isn’t sloppy like everywhere. Its finely grated. This is a hole in a wall place. Takes only cash. Pricey for fast food.
