The Android’s Dungeon

This place is amazing. The owners are really fun to talk to and I almost always find what I’m looking for. If I don’t, the owners are more than willing to order a copy of whatever for me. The new store is really nice and the location is so much easier to find.

It’s not just a comic book store. The Android’s Dungeon is a place full of pop culture, collectibles, and great conversation. Jon, the owner, is about the nicest person I know and he is always very helpful in finding you what you need or want. If you’re a frequent comic book reader this is a great place to start a pull list.
I admire that this store is the only store I know that takes the care to bag and board every new comic before it’s put on a shelf which means you don’t have to worry about having shelf waves at the bottom of all your collectables. That in itself makes this the best place to buy your comics.
Have old comic? This is the fairest place I’ve seen in buying comics of value.
The store also holds various events and specials so don’t forget to follow them on Facebook and Twitter for news on upcoming events which are always fun and something you don’t want to miss.

The Android’s Dungeon, comically with the same name as the comic book store in «The Simpsons,» is a new addition to the Shops at Perry Crossing (formerly Metropolis Mall). They recently moved to Plainfield from their previous location in Avon. I’m guilty of seeing their location in Avon, but never going in, mainly because of the traffic on 36. Once I heard they had moved to Plainfield, I knew we needed to check them out.
I’m fairly new to the world of comic books and graphic novels and am still honing my interests, but my husband is a seasoned fan. We have been to their new location 3 times already, and can guarantee that we will visit weekly from here on out.
The store is ever-​evolving on each visit as they settle into their new space. The store’s organization has improved with each visit as well. The owners are friendly & helpful. Really, The Android’s Dungeon is everything we hoped it would be. We have our «pull list» started of the comics we love, and can’t wait to stop in on a regular basis.
