Yep, not a fan of Wal Mart… just not sure I ever will be. But, there are just some things you can’t get at Target and don’t want to spend the time or the money driving to Lowes for. That’s where the begrudgingly made trip to Wal Mart comes in. I try and only do it every couple years. The Plainfield store honestly is a bit better than some of the others I’ve been to. Not quite as packed and a little bit neater(but not by much). That said, it’s the same old Wal Mart experience that people complain about. Crowded aisles, an interesting clientele, confusing signage and generally unpleasant staff. This particular trip was to have a duplicate house key made. The only reason this store earned a second star was that the associate working the automotive department broke from the traditional Wal Mart employee model and was very friendly and helpful. She got everything taken care of quickly and courteously. Thank you! While not as bad as some other stores, I certainly hope not to be back any time soon.

Where do i begin with the rudeness here? i thought i had seen it at the Avon store. NOPE! I was in there this evening and I made the mistake of interrupting the social break the young«lady» was having at the service desk with her co worker who couldn’t be bothered to move, he was too busy texting away to move for customers… When I did get help her attitude was horrible, she talked to me like I was criminal suspect getting interrogated for not having a receipt. And couldn’t be bothered to speak with any type of customer service ability. «you gotta give me your license» «why u need to return it» «here»(hands me card and thats it) . Whatever hapened to customer service??? Kids these days have no clue what its like to have to work and actually treat a customer properly. But ill start by blaming the fact that they are allowed to act this way.

Horrible experience last night. Register 10. Young girl didn’t even know the 1st thing about scanning large items or even where to find the bar code to scan? Stood in line for 25 min. after standing in line for an hour before which was defiantly understable beings the situation. Gave her my discount card and she assured me twice discount was applied. Sure wasn’t so had to go to customer service desk for another hour voiding everything in cart and re ringing. Ughhh a complete disaster. Manager was also extremely rude during this. Heavy set rude male. Look these 2 up and fire them both. No good at customer service.
