Extra Space Storage

I wish I was able to go less than one star but it will not let me do that. Where do I start? First with in just over a year they raised the rates twice, not very nice of them. We decided to empty our unit and squeeze it into our small house. As we were emptying the unit we found water had leaked on to some of our boxes from the ceiling. That was not the worst of the damage, we had rodents eat a fishing rod handle and also part of a hand made wooden bunk bed frame. We alerted the office and also the insurance that they required us to carry. We were informed by the insurance company that they do not cover rodent damage. My wife told the office about this and asked if they could do anything but she was not in the lease so they could not talk to her so they called me. The office person told me that they were unaware of rodents but would let the exterminator know and that they did spray for bugs. I asked if they could do anything for the damage that I had incurred and they told me no. I would not recommend Extra Space Storage in Plainview to anyone not even my ex-​wife, and she hates me.
