Went here because of the 5 star ratings and great reviews. I was failry disappointed. The man running the place was very very nice and welcomed me when I arrived. He told me that guisada was hot and ready and if I was hungry he could have it for me right away. I said, «Sure!» As promised the food was quick and it was plentiful. Unfortunately it was not good. Tough and gristly the meat was not enjoyable. The rest of the food (beans, rice and potatoes) was very heavily salted. I had to have a coke to wash it down. Pleasant as the man was I will not come back,

Yum, yum! Stopped by hear on the tail end of a road trip last summer and still miss the food. Ok I have had a dream or two about the tacos! Everything was very good, and the wait staff was very sweet! How come little in the middle of nowhere places have the best food?

Best Mexican I’ve had in a very, very long time.
Be warned. This place is the epitome of a «hole-​in-​the-​wall». But, I feel bad for you if you cross this place off your list!
Everything was homemade. Beans, tortillas, pan fries, rice etc. I can just envision a large black cast iron pot over a gas flame in their kitchen full of the bistec ranchero. The flavor was wonderful.

BEST BEST BEST tortillas anywhere. Reasonable prices, clean. Family run business, YUM.
