People here are nice whether you talking to them in person or over the phone. And that’s everyone; the front desk staff, the MRI technicians, nurse and the staff handling requests for results. Place has great hours for us working people so don’t have to take time off for the tests and they’re well organized so you’re in at your scheduled time and out quickly. Would come back here again if I needed their services.

I had an appointment. It was crowded. I was greeted immediately. Super nice people. I had a sedation MRI. The anesthesiologist was terrific as well as the nurses. Excellent experience. They even called me 5 hrs later to make sure I was ok. That’s unheard of. There the best!!!

They have warnings, nice staff, and try to get you in and out. I got a cd at the end for the images. Good place, bring your referral with you.

I have been to many Zwanger Pesiri’s before mostly in suffolk. This was the first time in Plainview. Had to go for an x-ray. The staff was very friendly and polite. I filled out the paper work and was sent immediately in for the x-ray. No wait at all really great. Overall i have never had a problem with any of the ZWANGERSFOR X-RAYS ORMRI’S or Catscans. I would only go to Zwanger Pesiri for any Radiological need.

This review is for the Radiology center only in Plainview. For those reading this that either have cancer or have a loved one with cancer please take caution when visiting this facility in Plainview. Here I am only going to list what happened at the Plainview Zwanger Pesiri vs care we have seen at two other radiation facilities since. Upon arriving at Zwanger Pesiri Radiation we were surprised to find that the information in the chart was incorrect, they had my loved one coming in for a treatment. when in fact it was to be a consultation. Next we are herded into the doctors office. The Doctor had not taken even 2 minutes to review the chart he was under the impression we were there for a cancer my loved one had six years ago, next he completely discredited the type of treatment that was had 6 years ago(please note that we had multiple doctor opinions of treatment the first cancer go around.) About five minutes into the appointment the Doctor picked up a personal phone call and began to chat with his wife about something very exciting they had done for their son, no «please excuse me» or «this will take a moment». At this point, after the call, he could not remember what we were discussing so it took a few to get him back on track. The final straw was when he excused himself«for just moment», 10 minutes later after sitting in his office with no Doctor in site we grabbed our discs and retreated. Yes, medical care is a business, but this facility and Doctor need to remember that their clients are human beings, probably at the darkest hour of their lives, we are not widgets! I have never seen a more unprofessional medical care provider in my entire life! This behavior is a disgrace to the entire profession. As a side note, when leaving the office area another patient’s family member followed us out, after hearing our conversation with the front desk staff, and told us they have been treated so incredibly poorly since treatment began we made the right choice not to stay. I hate to write a negative posting without some comparison, since leaving this office we have reached out to two other Radiology groups, one private in Woodbury and one part of a Hospital Network. Both facilities are completely buttoned up, all charts and discs are sent ahead of time so the doctor can review BEFORETHEAPPOINTMENT and the doctors at both facilities are smart, straight shooters and not for a moment behave as though they are doing you a favor for being in business! Everyone’s experience may be different I can only speak for my experience. Just take caution. You do not choose to have cancer, but you certainly can choose where you get your treatment!
