What a great local business! Really amazing customer service. I was so impressed and happy I made the drive out here to continue my hunt for a little known book(which I didn’t find but they offered to order for me). From the moment I walked in the door, they asked if they could help me find anything, led me around the store, made good suggestions for other books I might like based on what I was looking for, and were just generally happy, friendly people. They even took a few dollars off on the books I ended up buying just because it was«the holidays». Of course not everyone can get this experience if it’s busy when you go into a store(even poor disabled veterans, boohoo…) but I found them extraordinarily helpful even if I did need to wait my turn when I needed additional help after browsing around. It seems to be in the blood of these small, used bookstore owners. Almost all that I have visited are run by very knowledgeable, bright, cheery people. The benefit of working with things that you love I suppose. Unilocalers, can I ask HOW you have rated a used book store as «Pricey»? All used books are half off cover price(at least by default). New books are new book price. Shop on amazon if you want to undercut the publishing industry and create a world where your children race against the clock by running around warehouses pulling items off shelves in order to feed their family(at least until they are replaced by robots). Recommended!

Terrible Customer Service; waited patiently for over ten minutes before walking out. This is how they treat a Disabled American Veteran. Do not shop here, BOYCOTTTHISBUSINESS!

I was looking for a particular children’s book that I thought my son would like, and decided to poke my head inside to see if Annie’s might be carrying the book. They didn’t have it. But the service was incredible. She searched the store for the book, and after being unable to find it, she helped me order a copy and called when it was ready for pick up. I was really impressed, it has been a while since I felt that important as a customer at a store. The only thing preventing me from going 5 stars is that the prices are a bit higher than you would find at Amazon. There is something about the service and being able to see and preview the book before buying that makes me think I’ll be returning here, though.

My kid was looking for a book called«The Stinky Cheeseman and Other Fairly Stupid Stories.» Well, we were leaving Dance from Studio Two and I saw this place. So, I go in. I’m going to start off by saying that they have a great selection of used books. It was nice to see the place FILLED. Also, it seems that they have a buyback point program… which I didn’t get the whole story for. But next, not only did they have this book, but the lady there was SO helpful in finding the book… and we got to talking… and talking. She was actually interested in what my little one had to say about books that she likes to read… to the point that we were way past closing time. But, she didn’t even make a peep about needing to close. She would have stayed open and helped as long as we would have been there. That’s the type of service that a small shop should have… and why it’s where I’m going to go first to find any book I’m looking to read.
