NOTHINGSTAYSTHESAME!!! This used to be one of our favorite restaurants but no more. They have changed so much. You used to get a salad with your entrée but now there is an extra charge. The menu has also changed. They are now big on pizza instead of catering to those of us who came for a real dinner. We returned there because of a birthday coupon so we thought we would try them again. The hostess and owner Joan couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. I usually almost always ordered coffee with my meal, except when I noticed on the menu the price for a two cup coffee had jumped to $ 6, I decided to pass. There was still a full house on a Friday night so they must be attracting customers. I do not plan to be one of them in the future.

We went to Confetti’s on 07⁄10 for dinner. We were immediately seated, but it took awhile to get a drink, but it was ok because we were not in a hurry. I got the impression that it was a «local» place, though. Anyway ordered a «CT Mule» for a cocktail, and it was very good– creative. The firecracker calmari was OK at best, nothing different about it. The bread served with dinner was stale. Waitress was very moody. So, not off to a great start, but the dinner was good. We had the sesame tuna, and scallops they were good, but not exceptional. All and all, it was OK, but nothing impressive in my opinion. I would probably not go back, because there are always more new and exciting places opening.

Went to Confetti for my birthday. It is a nice place the ambiance is nice and not what you would expect based on the outside appearance of the place. On Unilocal it says it’s a place good for kids, so we took our two children along. We were the only diners with children and were getting looks from other guests as if we were in the wrong place.(uncomfortable) but I’m not going to judge a place based on its customers. Once I got past the rude customers, I have to say the service was really great. Our server Gary was very welcoming, knowledgeable about the menu and specials, he also was very accommodating since they do not have a kids menu and my daughter wanted grilled cheese being a 6 year old. He put the effort into asking and getting our special request fulfilled. The portions are great for the prices and all of the food and ingredients were very fresh. I will definitely return without the kids.

We are regulars here. The food and service are excellent. They roast coffee in-house and brew in French Press. Possibly the best coffee in the area.

Four of us went for New Year’s Eve — $ 50 fixed menu. The drinks are reasonable and they do actually put liquor in them. I’ve been to places where you have to assume that they did. The appetizer, we all had onion soup, was very good. Two of us has rack of lamb and two of us had baked stuffed shrimp. The rack of lamb was«no complaints» from the two men, the shrimp was good, not great, but good. When it came to dessert we have something different to say. Two of us ordered the lemon coconut cake, it was frozen. One of us ordered the carrot cake and that was actually good and not frozen. One of us ordered the mascapone cheese cake.…we all tried it to confirm how awful it was. It was not only frozen but it was tasteless.. . no it tasted like cleaning products. We thought it was a bit pricey for what we got. We could have gone somewhere else and had the same food for less. I should mention that our wait person was very nice and very attentive. Our mistake was going to Confetti. We thought it would be better.

I was here before and never had an issue with the food which is top notch. I was here on a Friday night and there was the cutest little girl singing for entertainment and she was really good, she was singing top 40. Great service, the atmosphere is great and the food was excellent. French onion soup was excellent and they did not skimp on the cheese. The complimentary bread was great and warm to the touch. This is a great place for a family get together or even taking your significant other for a one on one. During busy times I would recommend reservations.

Nice menu selection– the menu was a cheaply printed piece of paper, however. Also the print is quite small and tricky to read. Good food. Decent prices. Service was slow, but friendly. They were out of several menu items at 6:00 on a Saturday night. We were in the room next to the patio and the décor felt VERY outdated. Solid B. Probably won’t return.

The food is great, especially the eggplant fries! We sat in the bar where they make legit drinks. I would classify the environment as an upscale-casual dinning. I walked in with a band tank and jeans and felt slightly under dressed you could say. I would definantely go back!

We were interested in having a party at Confetti for after our baby’s baptism, so we decided to check out the place for Sunday brunch after church today. Confetti’s website says that Sunday brunch is from 10AM to close, whatever time that is, so we reasonably assumed that a noon arrival would be fine. We arrived at noon and after hauling two small children through the snowy parking lot and to the door, we were informed by a rude employee that their last brunch seating was at 11:45 and we didn’t have reservations anyways. OK, they’ve just ensured that we will NEVER dine in the restaurant in the future and needless to say we’ll find another place to hold the christening party. I strongly suggest that Confetti update their very dated website to reflect that there are actual brunch seatings, that reservations are required, and that the last one is at 11:45.

i really, truly wanted to love this place. i’ve heard great things and was prepared to give every opportunity to be blown away. such was not the case. sunday morning sweetie and i woke up with a hankering for brunch and oodles of mimosas. as usual, i hopped onto Unilocal to search. being that confetti is close by and fit easily into our plans for the rest of the day from a navigational stand point i went to the website for menu info. the list of foods they had up for brunch was enticing enough but there was also a little side note about the option for a $ 15 all you can drink champagne/mimosa addition. hi. did someone say my name?! well, we arrived to a full parking lot and excitedly stole what we believed(based on what we saw) to be a highly coveted last available spot. what we found upon entering was a baby shower and essentially tumbleweeds blowing through the dining room. there were two or three other parties there for brunch. that should have been our clue to head for the hills. we were given the option of inside or outside tables and we chose outside because we saw a few tables basking in the glorious sunday sun and wanted in. little did we know that they were two in number and located *behind* the omelette station. they still accommodated us us, albeit a bit begrudgingly but there was no way i was going to pass up the sunshine. the server was incredibly dry but did well at clearing our plates and getting our mimosas. haha. the best thing we ate was the omelette. legit. idk what they used to season that bad boy but it was delicious! broccoli, tomato, mushroom and cheese. outstanding. inside the choices were alright but nothing that blew me away. it also seemed as though they were getting ready to break it down at any minute. there was a carving station with a roast of some sort. it looked fantastic all juicy under its little heat lamp. not so. it was maybe the toughest piece of meat i’ve ever had. in the end our check was about 75 $ before tip. in hind sight a 20% tip was probably a little generous but hey, it’s how i pay my bills while i’m in school so… i have to put some stock in tipping karma. we decided that we would be open to giving this place one last shot for dinner based on their wine list. that’s the best i can say for now.

I’ve only been here once for a bridal shower, and the brunch wasn’t that great. We were also squished into a sectioned off part of a back room that just didn’t seem very party-like. All in all, not a venue I’d choose for an occasion such as that due to poor setup. However, I’ve heard great things about actual menu items from this place, so it’s on my list of «to try» in order to get the proper idea. The bar area is actually quite nice, I could definitely see a date night starting there with drinks, and moving on to dinner in the dining room. I’m almost positive more stars will be gathered on my next visit.

Been to Confetti’s a few times over the years, despite living ½ mi away. One was a women’s night out type dinner for several ladies, so the food for that wasn’t impressive due to volume, though it was fine. Their philly steak grinder was tremendous. Brunch was also very good. Last time went once with a coupon of some kind; ordered 2 tuna entrees and felt the portions were about half the norm(as req’d to disclose the coupon upfront). Also, it was a night you could byob w/o a corkage fee, but because of the entrée deal, the female owner walked over to explain they charged a corkage fee, with no apology. Would have been nice of they let it go the one time with an explanation of no double deals — that was 2 strikes in 1 night so my dinner companion refuses to return. Too many other quality restaurants to settle for an owner who is resting on her laurels.

It did not help that the most interesting man in the world was regaling his table full of guests with his most interesting tales of his Thai tailor and his most influential friends in Monaco. I kid you not.(Yo, Myron! If you are reading this, I’m not impressed, and next time, STFU.) It did not help that an elderly(and quite deaf) couple decided to stand and visit with a couple of other tables, and felt the need to drown out Myron’s blather with their own. It did not help that the male waiter on duty thought that shouting from wherever he was in the room was a good way to communicate with his patrons under these circumstances. It did not help that the music was turned up to dance hall volume. Fortunately, our waitress was able to resolve that. And why the music choice was to play all the hits of June 1974 is beyond my understanding. This was a first! I have never had to wear earplugs in a restaurant before. The noise level at this place was completely out of control. When our waitress came to our table to tell us about the specials, she was shouting as loud as she could, but could not be understood above the hellish din. I had to put my fingers in my ears — because it felt as if my eardrums were shattering. I wadded up some tissue and stuffed it in my ears. Had I not been with others(who fortunately for them are quite hard of hearing) I would have run screaming from the place instead of enduring the pain. The food? OK to good. This is another case where the Unilocal!5 star scale fails us: Two stars, by convention here as I read it, is a bad place that I wouldn’t go to under almost any circumstance. But three stars means A-OK? Nah, not«A-OK,» that would come with a thumbs up and a smile. Just a plain old«OK» fits here, as in «It was good(with a shoulder shrug and and an up turning of palms.) But, no shrug or palms up for the Fire Cracker calamari! It was fresh, hot, crisp, and light. Truly perfect. Lots of whole squid and not just rings. I can’t remember the last time I saw so much whole squid in a fried calamari appetizer. Five solid stars for this. Bravo! My sesame tuna with a peanut sriracha was a fresh, quality piece of tuna, nicely seared and served rare, but the sauce was a disappointment. Faintly tasty, but not even a whiff of heat. I asked for extra sauce which was promptly brought to the table, with some wasabi, but even the wasabi was bland. 4 stars for the tuna quality and prep, but it is no better than a 3 star plate as served. In fairness, the hideous, head busting torture subsided at about 8PM, by which time the most interesting man in the world and his fawning entourage, the noisy deaf old people, and a few other loudmouths had all made their exit. All of a sudden, I felt like the kid at Camp Granada — «hey wait a minute, it stopped raining, guys are swimming, guys are sailing…» — all of a sudden, I didn’t hate the place. But, our ordeal, I mean meal, was over. The waitress did say that the restaurant was much noisier than usual. Nonetheless, in most instances I’m not interested in sitting down to an Italian meal after 8 on a Thursday, and it appears that the noisy types are drawn in by meal and drink specials that end at 6:30. The décor is pleasant, but I was a bit put off by the white paper atop the white table cloths. White table cloth? Nice touch. White paper on top? Tacky… kind of like the shrink wrap on Grandma’s living room furniture. Given the proximity to Capri and Pagliacci I don’t know that I need to come back here. Certainly, I will not endure that kind of sonic barrage again.

Confetti’s is a nice casual Italian restaurant. Sat in the outdoor patio just because the weather was perfect for this kind of dining. Started with the sesame crusted cauliflower appitizer and fried eggplant… awesome! I could have stopped here. the dinner was a halibut cooked in lemon butter sauce and it was delicios the fish was very fresh. Henry the waiter is as good as it gets… recommended everything including a «new» salad dressing combo that was increduble balsalmic and blue cheese dressing on your salad… try it you will not believe how great it taste and I’m not fond of either but together… Marrone! This is a great local restaurant and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food… no can openers here.

«A man walks into a restaurant because of a Groupon» That was me. Confetti was a busy place when I attended, the bright colors and confetti motif show you where they get their name from. This inside décor seems a little more stuffy than the outside. My wife and I had apps of the calamari and the fried eggplant fries. I had to try the eggplant fries, and strongly recommend them to anyone. Its an interesting fun twist on food, the calamari was perfect. The menu is a mix between surf and turf and pastas, because the pastas are homemade my wife and I both elected to try the pasta dishes. The pasta was good delicious and fresh. But the all around restaurant experience was nothing exciting. the food was good and enjoyable, and reasonably priced, but we didn’t leave there needing to go back again. Its a good enjoyable place, but not very memorable

I went to confetti’s at least once a week for three months when I relocated to the area. I always sat at the bar and nearly always ordered the fish. Amazingly so, they don’t overcook it. Just ask for their freshest fish and get the chef’s recommendation for the sauce on the side(as I hate ruining good fish with sauce… I’d eat a filet o’ fish if that is what I wanted). The tuna is always a good standby. Plus, they introduced me to Ferrari carrano Sauvignon blanc fume… Which is practically the only inexpensive white wine I drink — bring me a big red, who cares if it is with a dainty white fish).

Confetti is right around the corner from my place of employment, so it’s a popular choice with the staff for business functions. The owners/managers are great, accommodating and friendly — I know this from having dealt with them to coordinate said functions on multiple occasions. Personally, I have only eaten at Confetti once on a long lunch break. It doesn’t look like much from outside, but it’s got a very nice interior. I ordered seared scallops for my meal. The presentation was excellent, the scallops were huge and cooked to veritable perfection. My coworkers and I shared a blueberry cobbler a la mode after lunch was said and done(hey, my boss was expensing it, why not?) wish that I had just gotten one for me, myself and I. It was fantastic!

I have only been once, but was pleased with the experience and wouldn’t mind going back. Food: I tried the Penne Vodka Salsiccia, which was quite good. Pasta was done just right, the sauce ratio was perfect, and the sausage was tasty. I also tried the Adult Mac & Cheese, which was good. You could definitely taste the lobster throughout the dish, regardless of whether or not you forked a piece in any particular bite.(Ok, honestly I just stole a couple bites of this one.) Drinks: Nothing to mention one way or the other here based on what I ordered. Should probably mention, however, that their tap water is pretty blechh. Lemon would probably help, but I personally don’t like lemon in my water. Service: Service was pretty good, other than that the waitress tried to seat us at what was perhaps the crappiest table in the place even though there were plenty left. She kind of gave me the impression she was new to Confetti, but she did a reasonably job and seemed to have a decent albeit partial grasp on the menu. Random Notes: — They forgot to take the onions off my salad. Boooo. — The sign out front needs to be replaced. I understand what they were going for, but I’m not sure it was worth it… — You may want to err on the dressy side when picking out what to wear, though I think you can get by with less than a sport coat based on the variety that I saw(was a Friday night). — Mussels fra diavolo, but no similar entrée? awwww. — Some of those appetizers looked delicious and I’m regretting not getting one! …next time…
