Gerry Dooley helped us negotiate the home buying process from beginning to end that took roughly three months from the time we brought him on board until the final accepted offer was in. He is still in contact even after we closed to assist in any matters that may arise.
We started out having an idea of where we wanted to be and the type of dwelling we were looking for. In the end, we didn’t end up in the same town nor the dwelling type we had in mind and we thank Mr. Dooley for that and the education he gave us throughout the entire process. I hadn’t even really considered a condo at first, in fact I was fairly against it. But once I realized what a condo fee actually pays for, it became a more attractive option not having to worry about a roof or mowing my own lawn and that is exactly what we ended up with.
Gerry was tirelessly there for us at every turn. We even offered for him to skip out on the final walk through because it was an hour drive for him but he wouldn’t allow it. He was willing to travel far and wide for us, whether it be a showing on a busy Friday afternoon miles from his own house, he was there for us. It also involved many weekends of open houses in his car as he drove us around to different locations. I’m actually going to miss the open house aspect of the process since he made it so easy on us.
I would recommend Gerry to anyone looking to buy in the Boston area. He is patient and knowledgeable on properties as soon as you enter them. He would discover items in a home I would have never thought about looking into. He answered emails at all times of the day, I wouldn’t go as far as ²⁴⁄₇ access but it was pretty close. You really can’t go wrong with him, he will make it as pleasurable and as stress-​free as it can be, even though buying itself included many sleepless nights.

As a first time home buyer, I have fretted about the entire searing and buying process. This is the biggest decision of your life! With anticipating all the heartache and pain, Gerry Dooley is the person who can ease your sorrows, mend a broken heart, help and guide you to your future home.
I am blessed to have this man by husband and my side through the process. We have worked with Gerry for this entire summer. He has been considerate of our budget, wants and needs.
I see this man like the father of home buying that everyone should have. He has advised what would be best for us: suggesting layouts, redo’s, refurbishments, negotiating strategies, and even suggest against what would be a bad idea to consider.
Gerry is a fully committed agent who only bats for you. He will be at your door when you need him. He stops at nothing to make sure that the house you ready to purchase will be the place you call home.
There have been several nights that my husband and I have late night (12 – 1 AM) questions and have emailed him to respond in the morning. Gerry will respond to your call IMMEDIATELY. –Literally within the 5 – 15 minute range, depending on the length of email. There has also been a time where he will respond to you as early as 5 AM.
I could not possibly say enough for this man. He truly has been a wonderful, generous, (non-​robotic), agent. His big heart emulates his genuine personality. I must fully endorse Gerry for your home-​buying needs.
