Won’t use this store again! Made an online order on a Friday, Planned on picking it up on Saturday after work. Got an email from the store at 7:51pm on Friday saying my order was ready to pick up. When I went to the store at 330pm on Saturday they informed me that the order was not picked and that it would be about a half an hour wait… 45 mins later I am leaving the store… So much for the convenience of ordering online! Gonna be sticking to Home Depot from now on…

Kevin that works in the. Plumbing/faucets /bathroom/kitchen area is amazing. Very friendly, great guy that always have a smile on his face and so helpful. Thanks to Kevin, I’ve been able to do a lot of projects in my home.

We recently bought a bank owned home so many renovations needed. I love this store. Most of the staff is super friendly. I even bring my dog Bentley and many know him by name. The store Manager Rich is hot! lol… Ok so that isn’t helpful for most, but it is truthful. He is very nice too =). There is always someone around to ask questions and there to help you. They really know their stuff and the Valspar Rep for this location is the BEST!!! She rocks!!! Taught me some things I didn’t know. Really enjoy shopping here. They make you feel welcomes. The assistant manager Bob, is a great guy too. Very knowledgeable and makes you feel like you matter!!!

What a complete joke this store is. I bought a $ 1600 lawn tractor here and it broke after the third use(of course, this isn’t exactly Lowe’s fault and this doesn’t play into my one star rating). Anyway, I took it back to the store to be serviced(it was a simple repair that probably should have taken someone an hour). It’s been two and a half weeks and I don’t have a single piece of concrete information about the status or whereabouts of my tractor. I’ve called the store, Lowe’s Service Advantage, and Lowe’s customer care all multiple times… and absolutely nothing. I’ll never step foot in this store or another Lowe’s again.

Don’t buy a dishwasher there. You will be charged more in fees than the dishwasher is worth. They are ripping off their customers. They charge for permits which are not needed, extra electric work which are not needed, and a reconnect fee. This is over and above the install fee.

I had a problem with a chainsaw I bought from here. I purchased the protection plan from Lowe’s and the protection people wouldn’t honor the plan because they claim the chainsaw was abused. I only use the saw for cutting firewood that is already on the ground. It started over heating then the clutch froze up. After talking to the manager at this Lowe’s he made it right and gave me a new saw. If it wasn’t for this I would probably never buy another product at Lowe’s.

Yesterday I went to my local Lowe’s in Plainville MA and spent $ 84.00 on 6 perennial plants. The plants looked great. However, when I came home and began to plant them I soon realized that the plants had NOROOTSYSTEMS. The soil fell away from the plants revealing threadlike roots. I am extremely disappointed and I will bring the plants back if they fail to thrive. Warning: although the plants at Lowe’s look healthy they are not. Shop elsewhere!

I’ll travel to this Lowe’s beyond my local one for 3 reasons: different products than other stores, nicer stuff and help from the expert staff in the back(flooring, windows, etc).

Polite staff and that is the only good thing I have to say. They sell mostly garbage products to stay competitive with the Home Depot. In my opinion it’s an insult to the consumer taking brand names and forcing them to degrade their quality(garbage products) just to make a dollar. Examples are the«Pella» vinyl windows that were considered the biggest piece of garbage both under their current name and their former name and most of the tool department. I feel sorry for the employees that have to pretend like they are selling a good product.

Best lowes around when it comes to customer service. They find you what your looking for and do a great job explaining it. Also give you other brand products to compare with. Definitly the best mega do it yourself store experience… Stop… Hammer Time!!!

I had a really great experience with this store. My refrigerator was dying and I was leaving for vacation in a few days. My sales person helped me find a refrigerator that was in my landlord’s budget and quickly set up the delivery so it would come before I was on vacation. Everything was seamless. The delivery guys came right on time and they were SO sweet and helpful. I would definitely do business with them again.

Not just one standout employee, but many. Virtually everyone I’ve asked for help — and it was more than just«what aisle is x, y. z in?» — provided truly valuable information and assistance on mulitple occasions. From electrical(me do electrical work?), to plastering, to just a manager checking in to see if I needed help, these people make all the difference.

On tax-free weekend I ordered an electric dryer online. .. to be delivered and removal of the old one. I was still printing out the confirmation when my phone rang. They were out of stock but expected more in within a week. They delivered(actually it was«Home Delivery Services, a separate company), set up and took the old one away. .. and they did it well within the time window(2 hours) that they gave me on the phone the day before. To make it better, their online price was $ 40 – 100 cheaper than all the other places I found online/stores in the greater Boston area.
