Papa Gino’s Pizzeria

The food is good but the girl making pizzas doesn’t wear gloves. Place needs better management

Ordered on line at 5:16 and received the email right after that. Almost two hours later we still have not received our food. Not happy or impressed. As I was doing this it arrived and was not hot.

Now that I finally made a Unilocal account. I wanted to give a solid review on this particular Papa Gino’s. I will start by saying that I grew up on this place. I would go a lot of times on the weekend and enjoy a nice pizza there. Sometimes I would even order and never had issues. I always loved the taste and crust.
I am not somebody who eats out often. The last few times I got Gino’s was about a year or two ago. Those times that I have picked up the pizza and brought it home, it wasn’t as it used to be.
One thing I noticed is that the paper plates and napkins are generic. They no longer have the Gino’s logo on it. I found that to be odd.
The last time I got pizza from there, I used a coupon and got a couple cheese and even an order of free cinnamon sticks. The pizza was picked up and brought back. When I took my first bite, I found it to be absolutely bland. There was no taste of cheese or sauce. The cinnamon sticks were similar with no taste. I was really disappointed because prior to that order, my last was similar.
I am wondering if the quality has gone down. I always remembered this Gino’s to be great but am not happy with how it is now. I haven’t been back since.
I should have called at that point and complained to the manager but it wasn’t worth it to me.
I don’t know if the manager reads these reviews or mine but I hope he/​she can make Gino’s better because it was a great location and I always enjoyed going there.

Very knowledgable and nice on the phone. Ordered 4 large pizzas for a birthday party. They didn’t have any good deals for that. The total came out to $ 53.00 which is kind of a lot. But I gave them I time I needed the pizzas ready by and they were right on point! So that made me a happy customer!

Twice now we have ordered from this franchise and both times the pizza arrives crisp on the bottom, limited toppings and raw in the middle dough. This time we called and they replaced it, with another just as bad.
I chose not to eat it, my friend who was very hungry after the second one arrived, ate a slice and was sent immediately, by the intestines, to the toilet.
Sad. As the Attleboro store does a nice job consistently, but was not convenient.

That moment when your food takes over an hour to get delivered when you live down the street… I literally watched the driver go by my house and never turn around or even call to say they were lost. Not really a fan of cold food when it should be hot. Call me spoiled but if I’m paying for food to come at a reasonable time, that’s what I expect.
the food is OK but clearly the service is slow. I prefer many other places so I’ll be sticking with them.

Always good pizza friendly staff can’t go wrong. My kids enjoy the mozzarella twists.

I really love Papa Gino… for a verrrrry long time I thought he was Papa John’s twin brother and I wouldn’t even give him a chance. Now I am pretty sure the two are NOT related (right???) and he’s my favorite pizza delivery man. Anyway, his pizza is always sooooo good and he even made our pizza heart-​shaped tonight — awww! Thanks sooo much — our kids looooved it!

Loved there new pizza it really is different and had a kick to it. I think it had habanero a or jalapeños. Typical teens working behind counters but the restaurant was very neat and the manager Chrissy was very nice even brought the order out to the table for us personally. I had trouble deciding and she asked what I was in the mood for sweet or spicy. I said spicy and suggested the new pizza and it was a big win.

Too gross to eat in, but take out is good if they get your order right. Make sure you check before you leave! Sometimes their system goes down and locks all of the registers. Makes it kinda tough to complete your order. The pizza is cooked well, not doughy, the way I like it. Good crust.

Pizza did not have any taste. I’m not sure how they managed accomplish that, but the Works pizza that I got from here has to be my worst ever. It had very few pieces of meat and too much green peppers. Their large pizza looked like a medium. But all that didn’t matter because the pizza itself was tasteless and gave a crummy feeling in my stomach.
