Great little pizza joint. Ask for the Pizza to be well done. Menu has desserts, wraps, boneless wings– Everything we have had has been really good.

It’s been an hour and no food… for a Tuesday night and hungry kids, not acceptable. The pizza is usually pretty good so we have our forks crossed. Not happy about the slow delivery time at all. We will update after we actually get food.

Went here on a recommendation from a friend in was very impressed. It’s kind of a New Haven New York style pizza with great prices. Once my kids ate there they prefer it over Domino’s and Little Caesars. We love pizza in my house it seems to be the best fire brick oven pizza in Plainville in my opinion

I discovered Pizza Pie when they handed out free slices during their opening week… the wood fired slice was solid, above average. But recently got a buffalo chicken with bacon large pie and it was a disaster… the chicken was clearly processed frozen schlock and the bacon bits seemed to be out of a bottle… the pie was small for a large and cost over $ 20.00…if you want really good wood-fired pizza, try Castello’s in Meriden across from Hubbard Park

I can’t imagine this place only has 2.5 stars. My husband and I are sometimes turned off to places with poor Unilocal… But we decided to give it a chance bc we were craving sandwiches. We got three paninis and they were on special for $ 3… They came hot, fresh, and not small at all! Such a great deal. I ordered the salad but didn’t get the Gorgonzola cheese it specified in description and I’m not even mad because the paninis more than made up for it. We will def try again soon and I hope to bump my 4 stars to 5. Good job !

My new go to for delivery. Great thin crust pizza, loaded with toppings. When they’re busy(warm summer nights especially), delivery can take upwards of an hour. They’re realistic in their delivery estimate — often arriving earlier than they tell you — and always apologize when it takes some time. Great food, great service.

I periodically find myself in the area at lunch time looking for a small bite from a non chain restaurant. In the past, I would stop in for a slice of pizza at now defunct Empire Pizza so I was happy to learn that PizzaPie was open and using the same wood fired oven. This past week my wife and I decided to give them a try and I was delighted on entering to discover the new owners has remodeled the restaurant; cleaned it up, discarded the ice cream section and added new tables. There were a few varieties of pizza available, but I chose cheese. For $ 5 plus tax, I received 2 large slices and a soda. So far so good, but the pizza crust was limp and the toppings were mediocre. My search for a small bite, non chain restaurant in the immediate area continues.
