I wouldn’t have found this cute deli/​convenient store unless I was doing laundry nextdoor (see other review for Bubble King Laundry). White Hen seems to have every little food item you could think of in a quick easy place. Their deli counter serves up fresh cold cuts and a large variety of sandwiches, salads and soups made to order. Prices are reasonable around $ 4 – 6 per sandwich. They even have muffins and small pasteries to go along with a nice cup of joe.
In the rear of the store they sell beer which I thought was a neat thing since most stores in Massachusetts don’t sell any form of alcohol unless it’s strictly a liquor store. Also they sell everything a typical convenient store would smell from chips and cookies to razor blades, bath tissue and a pack of cigarettes.
I will surely be back next time I am doing laundry or in the area!

White Hen Pantry in Plainville had opened a while ago. This is where I get my 99 cent 24 oz coffee in the morning.
The coffee is always hot and good. It’s owner operated and the staff are excellent. There is a whole lot here at this White Hen. They have a deli with just about every type of meat you can find. they make sandwiches, subs, hot/​cold. They make soups, salads, pastries, muffins. the price is very reasonable.
«Hey try this Dunkies…» 24 oz hazelnut coffee in a non Styrofoam cup, with raw sugar and real cream, made just right and a fresh (large tasty) muffin in many varieties for $ 1.99!!!

The building is brand new, and sits before a laundromat which is a great place to go. (newer equipment and cleaner clothes)
Get this. There is also A car wash behind the laundromat
I drive out of my way for W.H. coffee. I pass three dunks on the way.
If you like cheap coffee and hate Cumbys coffee like i do, W.H. is the place. since it’s owner operated (again) there is someone there with a vested interest in assuring repeat customers. Quality, cleanliness, variety and friendliness. Success.
You achieve that by hiring quality help, supervising the help, train the help to the standard you set.

About the coffee: There is a marked difference in coffee that has been brewed in a clean machine, and one brewed in a dirty one.
Most places take very good care of their pots and such, but miss one key thing: keeping the resinous buildup from re constituting and contaminating the water thus fouling a pot of coffee, making the coffee taste bitter, burned, or otherwise tasting «off»
White hen has the secret down. five stars.
