The food is pretty good and they have a decent beer selection. However, they only carry local liquors and my friend was unable to order a drinkable cocktail. There were three and they were all terrible. I mean completely undrinkable and not cheap. Sent two back and when the third was also just as terrible we gave up.

The food was tasty overall. I had the Benny Burger which has bacon, eggs and hollandaise sauce. Burger was seasoned well and also a very mighty portion of beef. Fries were seasoned with salt, pepper and parsley and were quite good. My wife had the Raven Benedict which had potatoes and pulled pork. The potatoes and pulled pork were delicious, but her poached eggs were overcooked to the degree that there was no runny-ness. My wife also had a Bloody Mary that she said was very good. The real issue was the service. We waited for about 20 minutes just to get drinks, and an hour for our food. The waitress didn’t check in or let us know what the delay was, so we just sat there. We probably won’t be back due to poor service, which is unfortunate because the food is good.

Absolutely love this place! The food is amazing and so are the drinks. Excellent beer list and everything is local! Try the peachy pig sandwich. Service is always excellent. Great addition to our town

We were looking for a place for Sunday Brunch in Plainwell and discovered the Raven was open at 10:00. We sat outside and had a beautiful pub breakfast. Amazing food and great selections, especially if you like Hollandaise Sauce. I had the best ever Bloody Mary and a vegetarian egg scramble with goat cheese and nice coarse bread.

Nice place for a brunch. We had the Summer Scramble and Fisherman’s Benny. The Scramble had really great savory flavors with vegetables and fresh mozzarella cheese. The Benny was a fish cake on a bed of potatoes with poached eggs and mustard based hollandaise sauce. We sat inside but it looks like they also have outdoor seating. Hope to go back for dinner and take advantage of the put do seating before the weather turns. Service was attentive, timely, and not too intrusive.

A great experience for Sunday. Enjoyed a Smoked Brisket Skillet and the Peach French Toast both hit the spot and were fresh and taste.

Love that this restaurant is Michigan centric! Seems to have a quality a Quality team including the cook and fresh ingredients, the problem with fresh ingredients is that it seems like they’re always out of items on the menu. If they can get their inventory control better it would be a solid choice worth a 30 minute drive in the town of Plainwell! Still worth a visit and an opportunity if you support local business.

Stumbled upon this gem. Great local vibe with solid service and interesting fare like the lily soup(cousin to the chive/onion) Steak salad was perfect. I’ll be back.

The food, service and atmosphere are great! I love trying new things at The Lost Raven. Their reuben sandwich was delicious, and I loved the pub poutine as an appetizer. Looking forward to enjoying dinner on the patio as soon as it opens!

Went back again and was pretty disappointed. Slow service, and while I appreciate the effort, I’m still not impressed with the food. I’ll stick with Four Roses, Maude’s, or the new Salvinos. I likely won’t go back, which is too bad because I love the idea of the place.

Wow. Normally, poutine would not be something we would order but more than one person told us to get it. They were correct. It was worth every gravy dipped, gooey cheese curd bite. The rest of our meal was taste after taste of genuinely perfectly flavored food. We had the red eye chili, orchard grilled chicken salad and the raven burger. Don’t skip the dessert! I’m so glad someone told us to get the vanilla toffee cheesecake. Oh my love of toffee… it was just divine. The service was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is casual to dressy. Very clean, lots of light, great MI drink selections. We will be back!

Went here after snowboarding at Bittersweet for dinner and drinks. I had a garlic shrimp special that was phenomenal and everyone else in our group enjoyed their dinner as well. Great low key spot with a good drink selection too.

Had a quick dinner there last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The last time I was there it was Arie’s London Grill and it was great back then so I was skeptical to try it but I’m glad we did. The menu was more than what you would expect from anywhere in Plainwell. There was a great selection of appetizers and burger/sandwich options and the entrees all sounded delicious. They also offered $ 3 wine specials and a $ 10 winter comfort menu with great options like a smoked jalapeño meatloaf with sweet potato purée and a pork belly cassoulet(my choice) that was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Ravens burger. It was cooked perfectly with bacon, bleu cheese and dried cherries and served with housemade sweet potato fries. The atmosphere was casual but not neighborhood bar casual and the service was excellent. I would suggest this place above any other in the Plainwell/Otsego area.

Loved this little place. Delicious food. wonderful service. Not a large menu but enough choices for everyone. I had the whitefish, my husband had the beef brisket, our friends had the chicken and roasted vegetables pasta. we covered the menu. all of it was to die for. Including dessert that we shared. going back and can’t wait.

Very delicious meal. I had the chicken dinner with roasted brussel sprouts and risotto. The chicken and brussel sprouts were great and the risotto was good but a bit under cooked. My boyfriend had the brisket and had nothing bad to say about it. Loved that the entire menu was from michigan including the drink choices, right down to the Faygo pop.

My fiancé and I just had dinner here and it was excellent. The environment is very welcoming, the staff was friendly, and the food was superb. I had lamb shank and she had salmon. Both were cooked perfectly and we’re very flavorful. The lamb comes from the chefs family farm and it was fall off the bone tender. Lastly, everything is made from local ingredients in an open kitchen. They also have a great selection of local beers and spirits. We will most definitely go back for another round, especially if they start serving brunch. Sorry for the bad picture, but it looked so good that I ate half before I thought to snap a photo :)
