At Your Service Chem Dry

I was recommended to call Patrice at Chem Dry. I called to set a date to come do the carpet cleaning at my home. On that day I waited until late afternoon and «No Show». I called Patrice to see when they would arrive and she stated «that she tried calling me a hundred times». I told her I received «no calls all week especially none on that day as I have been home all day». She kept coming at me about calling a hundred times. We got off that topic so I thought by rescheduling the next day when she started up again about trying to call me a hundred times. She asked me if «I was on a cell phone» and I responded with «No a Land Line I’ve had for years». She flipped a switch. Her personality changed and started very strong talk with me and became very nasty. I decided to end call and accepted for the carpets to be cleaned the next day. When we hung up I had a bad premonition and spoke with my husband about the call and we both agreed to cancel with Chem Dry.
She has some kind of short fuse and would never recommended this Franchise ever.

She’s Nasty

I recently had the opportunity to use this service at my condo. My dogs had stained my carpets and the place was beginning to smell. I found the owner Patrice very cordial, and a joy to deal with. They did an awesome job on the carpets and now I don’t cringe when walking through the door. The carpets are almost like new. I would definitely recommend them and will use this service again.

Based on the more recent review of Patrice C., I am heartened to see that this vendor may have gotten the point after their corporate office called and spoke on my behalf. Let’s hope that this would not be needed for future customers

Sadly I did not have the opportunity to use this service which came highly recommended to me. I called this franchise and spoke several times to the owner who offered to set up a cleaning date. However I did not feel comfortable moving forward without a quote. I was under the impression the first thing they would do is take measurements and move forward once my concerns were met. Admittedly I did call the day of the scheduled appointment and spoke with the owner. I expressed concern about not getting a quote first before they started cleaning. I had no intention of cancelling when I called. I simply wanted to make sure I was provided with a quote in order to make an informed desicion. If my concern was treated and dealt with respect and courtesy, the cleaning would have gone ahead as planned
In this struggling economy I was shocked to hear her response. I have over 20 years experience in customer service and I was appalled by her behavior.
Her reaction was rude and demeaning. I was finally compelled to cancel only because of her abusive behavior and her inability to listen. She spoke for me, overtalked me and bullied me into a corner. I had to contact the corporate office and make them aware of her reaction. They indicated they would talk to the franchise
Should you wish to use Chemdry for yourself, you may want to avoid this franchise (both in Haverhill and Plaistow) unless you like to be brow beaten. Really, find another ChemDry in the area. I hear they do a terrific job.
