Step back in time. This is an old school hardware store. Personal service from a local family. The big box store might be a little cheaper but the Sickel family is wonderful.

This is the one place I can go when I have a problem with my house whether it be plumbing, electrical, or hardware issues and Paul (owner) will not let me leave without him solving it.

Westville is a small town hardware store where everyone knows each other. Except for me because I moved from there 7 years ago. Its also been open probably longer than I have been alive and I hope they stay!
But they are actually useful and helpful people working here. You have a question? They can answer it! Even if they don’t look like they can, they will surprise you. The store is also small enough to make it easy to find what you need quickly.

Biddeford, ME
A local hardware store that isn’t Home Depot. Whenever I’m in the neighborhood and I need to buy something that I can find in a small store, I’ll buy it here. The people are helpful and you won’t get lost, misdirected, or run down by a cart full of lumber the way you would at HD.
