Advanced Veterinary Care of Plano

Dr. Jones is the vet I’ve been taking my lab to. I liked her as she was a pleasant person and seemed to care for my dog even though their prices are high. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars here as my dog needed to be treated with steroids for his allergies and infection. I just called today because my dog has been having tremors and a fever. I told them I don’t get paid until Friday so I cannot afford to come in until then and what do I do? I was told by Jeffery, the girl working in the front that Dr. Jones won’t see him without payment. I then offered them my debit card for them to charge first thing Friday morning or a post dated check. (How many of us live paycheck to paycheck… unfortunately) I was told no even though I’ve made an appointment to have allergy testing ($ 750-​$ 1000) so they know i will pay any amount to have him be healthy and pain free. I asked what do I do and Jeffery said that they can’t help me without an appointment. My dog is a child to me and to have someone be so unconcerned and in my opinion heartless will not be getting my business any longer. I’ve never had a vet truly not care and not give me any advice without an appointment. I will be driving to metro paws in Dallas just so we can go to vets who have shown love and compassion to not only my lab but to me as well.

Love the doctors and staff! We have been patients for 4 years and Dr. Fuller and Dr. Jones have been there for us with kitties at the end of their time here and for new kittens.

Dr Fuller has been taking care of my dogs for the past 3 years. HE is excellent and thorough
and very sensitive.
My 12 year old Weimariner — was crying last Friday — he ate some of the chocolate Halloween candy. Dr. Fuller saw us a 5;59 on Friday — and we left him so they could make him vomit — he could not vomit — Dr. Fuller xrayed him and found that his stomach had flipped over– I’m so glad that he sensed a problem and took the time to find the problem. He called me and I came right over and we had to put my «big guy» Duke to sleep but I was able to comfort him in the end. Surgery at his age would be too stressful and the outcome may not even be satisfactory.
The staff and Doctors are both excellent and I highly recommend them

I can’t say enough kind words about this office! Dr. Jones, Dr. Fuller and their staff are not only awesome, but they care. Dr. Jones even let me see the sonogram when we found out my dog was pregnant (unexpectedly). She let me know what to expect and was there to answer any questions we had. The day after our puppies were born, they took us in last minute on a Saturday for an exam to make sure the puppies/​momma were healthy. She has since administered all of their shots, answered questions we had as newborn puppy parents and even neutered the two puppies we decided to keep! I wouldn’t have felt comfortable letting anyone else care for our puppies and their momma. It’s nice to have a vet that genuinely cares about our babies and knows exactly how to explain what’s going on and how they’re going to help (and why) if there’s an issue. Thank you so much for everything (:

We are new patients here, but so far both visits have been great. Dr. Jones is very kind, professional, and thorough.
A big plus for me is there are no «hidden» costs and «add-​ons» that I have encountered at larger vet offices.
Would definitely recommend this office.

Dr Jones was very knowledgable and friendly. She took the time to make sure our dog was comfortable and that we understood everything. If we could give more than 5 stars we would.

Great dr, with the best bedside manner I have ever encountered. He is kind, knowledgeable and sympathetic to is, or dog and our cats.
Very reasonably priced and fair with the cost of medication as well.

The whole team is very nice but I have to admit that Dr Fuller is very human and always takes time with our 2 cats and our dog. He’s doing his best to make us avoid extra expenses which is important when you know how many time we went there since the beginning of the year!
I will definitely recommend that place and especially Dr Fuller to anyone whose leaving around :)

I received a letter from these guys in the mail — among many, many others since I bought my house in Plano. For some reason, I decided to go with their office when I recently had some issues with my cat. They were incredibly thorough, professional, and helped me come up with a plan of treatment. Everyone from the front office staff, to the assistants, to the vet were knowledgeable and helpful with helping me help my little one. I was also pleasantly surprised at their lower prices than vets I’d been to before.
I have to say I’ve never seen the level of compassion and kindness from another vet’s office and will absolutely be going back. Highly recommended.

Dr Jones and Dr Fuller are terrific! I have 4 animals so something is always going on. They provide compassionate care at a reasonable rate. I always feel welcome and never feel rushed. They are very knowledgeable and have definitely improved the quality of life for my furry family members.

We have been coming here for over a year now, and our two boys love the staff here. They treat us and (more importantly) our two boys with complete respect and care. As long as they will have us, we will continue to go.

The doctors of Advanced Veterinary Care have reopened the office where Dr. Amy Thomas used to be, at Spring Creek and Independence. They arrived just in time to take care of two kitty crises for me in less than two weeks, and they did so with skill and thoroughness and great patience. I’m so glad to have a wonderful vet close by again!
