Great shoes!
As far as the quality of the AE brand, in my opinion there’s nothing better.
Yes, they are on the $$$ + side but you pay for quality.
I have quite a few pairs of AE shoes, there great!
Very good shoes, whether your dressed up or dressed down these shoes will catch the eyes.
Very comfortable shoes and long lasting!

Called to ask for today’s hours and was greeted by a surly sounding guy. Not an iota of basic common courtesy (you know like, «Hello,» or «Goodbye.») When you are selling $ 400 shoes, act like you care. Even though the other AE is six miles further away from me, I’ll be driving there instead of going to see whoever it was on the other side of this phone call.

I was very excited to get fitted for my first pair of Allen Edmonds because I know they have a reputation for quality. A friend of mine had a fantastic fitting experience at a Cleveland store and highly recommended it to me. I happened to be in Plano for the week and stopped into the Shops at Willow Bend store with my wife and friend.
The store is very small but still had just about every style I had seen online. The first thing I noticed was that we were not greeted by the salesman at all. He did not acknowledge our presence, much less ask us if we would like assistance. I walked up to the counter and asked him if they carried a certain style of shoe I had liked online. He just pointed in the general direction and said yeah right there. After browsing a bit I asked him if he would fit me and he literally stood there and stared at me and kind of grunted. He eventually did find my size but the whole experience was so awkward and cold that I decided I would never buy shoes from that store out of principle.
There were nice books on display in the store and my friend asked the salesman if they were for sale. The salesman yelled across the store «90 dollars!», in a condescending tone unlike anything I’ve ever seen in a high end retail store. I’m only giving this store two stars because Allen Edmonds are great shoes. I just would not recommend this store to ANYONE.

Although I, as a female, am not a customer of Allen Edmonds, I am very well aware of the exceptional quality of products and customer service. Thus, when my brother was wanting a new pair of shoes, I quickly recommended going to Allen Edmonds. We visited the store in the Shops at Willowbend and sadly to say, I am extremely disappointed with the service we received.
When we first walked in, no one greeted us or approached us even though we were the only customers in the store at the moment. This was my first surprise considering the store is small, so there was no reason for both of the employees to disregard us. We looked at several pairs and my brother finally decided on a pair to try on. The entire time that he was questioning one of the employees, the worker never smiled, never seemed to want to help him out, answered his questions as briefly as possible, and was just very cold to us. Unfortunately, the store didn’t carry any of the sizes that my brother needed, and my brother was told to order online. After the employee put back the shoes, my brother asked what size he recommended him to get. The employee was looking on the computer screen the whole time, working on his own thing since the computer is faced in a way that we can see the screen, and answered, once again, abruptly and with no eye contact whatsoever. This was the absolute last straw, and we left the store extremely disappointed and let down at this service.
I did come into the store with high expectations, but even without them, the service was way below par and was lacking very simple, routine customer service traits.

Damnit! Who knew if you bought a brown suit, you needed brown shoes and a brown belt!?! My style retardation strikes again. I needed some nice brown shoes. I decided I would want a nice pair if I wanted to look my best. Allen Edmonds is it. They’re on the pricy side, I spent almost 400 on my wingtips after taxes. Damn they’re worth it.
They’re all handmade in the USA and last forever. A coworker told me his allen edmonds shoes have lasted him almost 10 years.
They have a vast selection of sizes for men with narrow feet, to those of us with much wider feet.
The salesman Russ was very helpful. He wanted me in the most comfortable shoe for me, he was happy to go pull more pairs out and explained what was in fashion, and what worked with what kind of outfit. It’s a breeze. I prefer a salesman who can be laid back and will talk with you.
The salesmen at other stores often treat it much too much like business and it just feels like a chore. Allen Edmonds was more than nice. I will certainly be back to pick up a new pair of black shoes.
