I’m trying to figure out who dropped the ball concerning our PayFlex plan. I’ve tried over and over to contact someone at Plano Surgicare concerning this yet all I get from their automated system is «the mailbox is full». I’m going to have to back their office and garner the paperwork needed and then mail that in to the bureaucratic«PayFlex» office which can’t figure out that money we’ve saved for a used for medical reasons needs further assessment concerning an outpatient procedure. Both Plano Surgicare and PayFlex expect you to jump through hoops, especially PayFlex in my opinion. I’m sure their system gets a kickback for their dubious actions.

This is my third or fourth visit over a six year period. From check-in to discharge a couple of hours later the staff was most helpful and courteous. While there is a lot of last minute paperwork, hence the one hour check-in prior to seeing the doctor, it was still done in a professional manner. They were very careful as what was going to be done and to confirm with me all was in order. Nice to have a TV to watch while waiting on gurney before the procedure. They called twice the day before the appointment to make sure I was prepared and ready. And they called the day after to check-up on me.

***Update*** Updating my review based on what I owed. At the time of my procedure they had called my insurance and told me I owed $ 1200 to meet my deductible. The previous described lousy payment plan is below. Well, we paid the last installment and don’t I get a bill for almost $ 1000 more dollars. Yeah. Someone dropped the ball and has no idea. Not to mention that you sit and have a payment plan broken down for you in detail and then this. Also, the math is shady as the additional bill still doesn’t add up to what my insurance says I owe. I will NEVER have anything done here again. Not impressed with my first experience with a Baylor facility. Everyone was so nice. Very efficient. I owed quite a bit for my procedure and their payment plan wasn’t the best. 50% down and then the balance paid in two payments. Not exactly a manageable payment but otherwise they were great. I had more pain than expected after the procedure and they got on top of it ASAP so I was comfortable heading home. Thanks!
